USUSVery nice hot breafast that was kept stocked and dinning area was constantly kept clean. Check in was a breeze, and host was so helpful. Gave us a lot of tips on things to do not only in Galena but in the surrounding area too. Our room was spotless. Inn was in great location for getting into downtown Galena and easy to find with plenty of parking, even when the Inn got very busy on our last night there. Near a small shopping area with grocery/ liqour store you can walk to. Has a nice homey feel with a welcoming fireplace and cozy sitting area in reception area. There is also a small bar area and a nice little grocery area at the Inn. We enjoyed staying here.
The blinds in the room left too much light in. Other than that no complaints.
USUSThe pool room is warm as well as the water. A cold pool is a deal breaker for me.
I am not handicapped but was staying in a handicapped room. I had to stand on a chair to see what I was doing while filling the coffee pot. There is no way a wheelchair bound person could utilize the coffee station.
USBeautiful property and dog friendly. Pool facilities were very nice as well! Was put in a room right by the door to get my dog to the bathroom which was super appreciated and convenient! Thank you all for a wonderful stay!
Everything was great, nothing i didn’t like.
USI had no idea there was a pool and a hot tub. I didn't see any pics on line. And I also had no idea there was not an elevator. I was with my mother for her 80th birthday, which I put in the comments, and they put us on the 2nd floor! Also, nothing was done or said about her birthday until I was checking out.
USThe bed was comfy and the fireplace out in the main area made it so relaxing. We loved the big bell at the desk.
The only issue I had at the inn was the toilet was too short especially for us seniors.
