It was a quiet and clean spot. No complaints!

I think the price was pretty high for the property. >$230 per night for a motel/inn...but I guess it is because of the Big Sur marathon.

That it had a microwave and refrigerator plus free parking

The cleanness of the room was evident. Also close to Del Monte Shopping Center. For those that need a place to stay when marathons occur in November and/or April.

The lobby is messy, I was able to see a tub of mice green blocks given to rats/mice behind the receptionist as he was accommodating me. The entrance to the property and exit is not safe and very difficult for low cars like mine. The door had the extra lock missing. The property is very outdated but clean. Beds are hard. The closet doesn’t have the guest plastic bag given for laundry that all hotels give. Needs remodeling ASAP.

The location was excellent

The management was very friendly initially suggesting good dining options. I told him I would probably only be staying 3 nights instead of the 4. He assured me that if I contacted Booking .com well ahead which I did they would reach him and he would approve the 1 day refund. I followed up with him and he assured me the one day refund. I checked out early Thursday morning. and never got a refund with Booking .com emailing he never responded to their request from me so I didn’t get it. I will not be using Booking .com on any further travels. Very disappointed that their process doesn’t have more traveler considerations in disputed situations!!
