They should use fitted sheets on their beds, not to top sheets and they should give up our soap to the bathroom and sink not just one fixed it also add a third towel and two washcloths not just one

The room was large and overall very clean! We didn't have bath towels when we checked in, but as soon as I asked for some the gentleman who I believe is the owner brought us some right away. They were busy and completely sold out for the weekend, and it seems to be a small family based team running the whole hotel. The AC/heat worked quickly and wasn't loud or annoying, and although the parking lot looked small at first, we never had an issue finding a parking spot! For the price, we will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Monterey! The location is also phenomenal, 5-10 mins to anywhere you could want to go in the area.

I think the only downside was that the shutters on the window didn't do a great job of blocking out the morning sun. This wasn't much of an issue for us, since we wanted to get up and get going each day, but something to note!

Carmel Hill Lodge was very clean and and in the perfect location for our trip. It’s located across the street from the mall. Dan the Man took care of all our issues and needs during our three night stay. He’s was a gracious host. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Monterey area and staying here.

It’s dated as are most of the lodges in the area. The pools filled in and the area is used as a dog park. Not everyone pick up their dog’s poop.

Our host, Dan just went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and easy. Location, service, room cleanliness and comfort - all top notch
