Agriturismo La Caraffara sull'Etna

Una bella struttura immersa nel parco dell’Etna. Circondata da un grande noccioleto e con alcuni animali domestici ottimi compagni dei bambini. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la zona. Ospitalità e cortesia eccellente. La colazione, su richiesta, vi regalerà una magnifica esperienza con prodotti a base di nocciole e frutti della struttura

Location con del potenziale ma per niente sfruttato

Sporco, senza condizionatori, muffa qua e là, due dita di polvere sulla tenda, spazzolone del wc risalente all’apertura dell’agriturismo, dispenser del sapone rotto, doccia senza box, una coppia di asciugamani in due, ingresso al viale senza un minimo di illuminazione, pensavamo fosse abbandonato, la proprietaria non pervenuta, al telefono ci ha solo detto di aprirci il cancello in autonomia e richiuderlo, il tutto al buio pesto nel bel mezzo del nulla, le foto su Booking non corrispondono a realtà, ci aspettavamo di cenare la sera del nostro arrivo ma la mattina seguente abbiamo capito che il ristorante era in disuso ormai da tempo. Con la stessa cifra abbiamo dormito nel centro storico a Ortigia

Si è completamente immersi nella natura, gli animali sono liberi e questo credo sia una cosa del tutto unica. È un posto molto particolare. I padroni di casa sono gentili e accoglienti, zero formalità.. tutto in famiglia. Ideale per i bimbi e le persone che amano animali e natura

Le camere sono molto semplici, forse qualcosa si potrebbe migliorare

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for—when we needed help, they were there with kindness and generosity. They thoughtfully asked about any food allergies ahead of time and prepared a delicious, fresh meal that accommodated everything perfectly. The setting is idyllic—a charming farmhouse nestled among friendly animals including goats, a horse, a pony, chickens, ducks, kittens, dogs, and a lovely cat. Everything (and everyone!) was welcoming and gentle. The hosts even joined us for supper, taking the time to share stories and connect with us, which made the evening extra special. We slept peacefully in our cozy room and awoke to the cheerful sound of roosters in the morning light. The farm has a deep love for Etna, their “grumbling mountain,” and that affection comes through in everything they do. A perfect blend of rustic charm, genuine hospitality, and heartfelt connection—this place is a gem.

We should have rented a car- that was our mistake. We loved the whole property.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my sons who are 7 and 5 years old. We explored Mount Etna and Taormina region. The hosts were super helpful telling us about great spots in the national park. The best thing about our stay was living with the animals! Every day my kids would say, can we go home and see the animals? There were even new born kittens 😍 We stayed in July and were worried about the no ac, but the way the building is designed we didn't need it. Cool enough.
