Clean and good location. Lu is very sweet

Expensive for what you get but seemed like other hotels were expensive due to a peak weekend ? Weak Wi-Fi and very thin walls where you can hear everything

Clean, comfortable accommodation. More budget hotel than hostel. Friendly staff. Slightly hard to spot - sign is high up in the air, and bell is one of a few by the building door. I thought that for central madrid it was decent value.

Location of the place is just right, walking distance to many sights, metro just a few min away. Lovely friendly lady took care of my check in, which by the way was really quick and smooth, and she really made me feel welcomed. In my room there was a sink, kettle, tea bags, instant coffee, mugs, minifridge - really thoughtful and made my stay very comfortable. I loved that tiny balcony facing a quiet street... Great light over the mirror, lady travelers certainly appreciate that, easy to put your makeup before a night out. Plus amazing big mirrors in the hallway - absolutely loved them.

Few things can be improved. I found it very uncomfortable not having any kind of hanger in a shared bathroom (I used the last one to the end of the hallway). There is no place to put or hang your towel and clothes, so I had to come with the plastic bag and hang in on a door handle while showering. Please install some hooks or hangers. Door keys - there is a set of three keys and marking at least one of them (I would suggest the downstairs door) would help a lot. I saw fellow hotel guests struggling with the keys downstairs and I myself had hard time figuring it out at first. Note: noise insulation is pretty bad, especially if your room is closer to one of the bathrooms or staff room. I also heard people quietly talking and walking in the room next door...so bring your earplugs.

Amazing location and very welcoming and friendly host. We had a room with private bathroom which was spacious enough for us. There’s also common area with couple of lounges as well.

Our room was very hot. We knew there’s only a fan when we booked which was OK but we didn’t understand that our room is ‘inside’ facing - had a window but essentially was looking at other windows facing the same way. This made it hard for any fresh air to get in, despite temperatures outside being very nice 20-24 degrees. This was probably specific to our room, otherwise it was as described.
