Unfortunately, the villa itself was disappointing. If you are looking for a quiet, private villa, this is not the right choice. It is not really a villa but more like a single room in a hotel with a pool attached. There is no real privacy – you can’t open the windows without people seeing inside, and even using the pool feels uncomfortable because it’s exposed. On top of that, the cleanliness was not up to standard. I found several things left in the bed and also in the bathroom, including the shower, which was very unpleasant.

Honestly it didn’t match the photo or expectation by the description. First time I got such an experience, selected a bad property from booking.com. I have used this app for years and years and booked many international and domestic trips, first time I feel I got scammed. Why did I even choose this villa god knows. First 4days we stayed in Sofitel Nusa dua, first class stay and experience and then this. Cheap setup, no proper understanding of English, no food facility inside, and the breakfast was below average, poor taste, cheap products used, served in broken and dirty old trays, orange juice made of local orange packet powder and mixed in water, the taps and hand showers not working, broken, water leaking from toilet, from bathtub, pool water not clean, spider webs everywhere, mosquito, cockroaches, pool wooden platform broken the nails were coming off and dangerous to even walk on it, never changed bedsheets when they did room clean service, dirty towels, didn’t give floating breakfast on the last day, Infact they even forgot to give us breakfast until we called them to remind. On the contrary reception told me I should have reminded them night before. When breakfast is included for the whole stay, reminding them everyday by the guest only shows their unprofessionalism. Property has zero maintenance. All the walls painting coming off, tv remotes hardly working. Fridge loaded with ice dripping.

Villia is pretty - neat and tidy and staff were delightful - the included day trip was a highlight.

Villia is small - there is no room to sit by the pool - the rooms are actually seperate you have to walk out of one room to get into the other room. The included breakfast was average - but I would not choose that as an option as loads of good places within walking distance

Only good thing about this property was the location and the check-in staff also getting a full refund!

The room we was given was dirty and had multiple damage throughout the room. One of the bath robes was already dirty before being used ( which we didn’t use) mirrors and glass were dirty, same as toilet. Tiles chipped and cracked, unsure when the pool was last cleaned had all dirt at the bottom. Breakfast came.. the avocado was a greeny brown colour and the poached egg was very undercooked, the fried rice was not fresh. Mosquitos could easily gain access as the sliding windows had no seals around them and no mosquito net around the bed. we had a ripped pillow. Dead flies above the tap in the seating area, marks all over the walls from previous guests splatting the mosquitos. The bathroom grout was yellow and discoloured all the way around and the shower area was dirty and the sealant was covered in mold. The door would not stay closed, it just rolled back to half way open ( unsure if this was a feature, however it could not be locked) Reported my issues to reception who put me on the phone to Elisa, who only offered a deep clean, I asked for her or the manager to come see the room for themselves and both declined. Contacted booking.com who were great. This was the response from Elisa to booking.com Dear Partner, Warmest Greetings from Del Cielo Villa Seminyak… We have actually spoken with the guest and checked both the room and breakfast quality, and everything was fine. However, please go ahead and accept the guest’s request for cancellation and a full refund. Thank you. The facility has the potential to be 5 star but is currently far from 5 star. Whilst in Bali we have stayed in a variety of different star rating hotels/ villas and I have to say this was by far the most expensive and worst we came across.

The villa itself was beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Alvin and Krisna, who really went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The space was clean and well-designed—perfect for relaxing with family.

For a family of five, we were limited to a set number of breakfast items, which was frustrating. We were also charged extra just for one plate of pancakes, which felt unnecessary. The mosquitoes were overwhelming, leaving us uncomfortable and honestly traumatized. I reported the safe not working several times—by phone and in person—but it wasn’t fixed until the day we checked out. Also, I wish the villa had a microwave, which would’ve been helpful.

Beautiful villa. Great restaurant nearby. Location was good. Restaurants, spas, clubs in walking distance. Nice pool. Staff were great. Gede was a gem.

The villa has a design flaw and the mosquito can easily get in through the gaps. Staff will spray and provide repellent which is quite effective. The main issue was the construction around the villa. If you are planning to stay in the villa during the day, it is not very peaceful. Definitely hurting the business. Otherwise very beautiful and private.
