Chateau Avalon

Wonderful experience staying in the Egyptian Palace room at Chateau Avalon! The décor is imaginative, the accommodations are luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and clean, and the jacuzzi tub was lovely. The lapis lazuli walls and colossal golden statues were breathtaking! The hotel seems to cater to couples more than families, and it wasn’t the most spacious room, but it was comfortable and luxurious for a single traveler or couple. It’s located very close to the speedway and Azura Amphitheater. D’Nile Lounge keeps odd hours, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so I did not get to experience that, and there is no pool. I did not check out the spa services, so I can’t comment on that. The room rates are also quite competitive for the area.

I wish the fountain was on and wirking but i was told they were doing maintenance so thats ok i loved everything about it just wish there was better food options at the hotel and prices were high for food and drinks

This hotel is a rare find. It is located very close to some sport and concert venues as well as the outlet mall. It offers a very cozy romantic atmosphere and setup. Our room was very nice. There is a nice little wine lounge that offers some smaller portion food during limited hours. It does have some limitations: you can’t order red wine by the glass and the bottle prices might be prohibitive. Also, if you choose to order wine up to your room after hours, you might have to arrange for it ahead of time. We tried ordering at 11 pm, but the only available staff was underage and couldn’t take the order. However, the next day the General Manager comped a part of our breakfast and assured that the adjustment will be made going forward. I highly recommend this hotel.

Tucked away on the outer edge of the KC metro. Quiet and away from the noise of the city

You overbooked my hotel and thehotel cancelled my resetvation. When do I get a refund? The hotel says they did not take any money from the transaction.

Initially, the Lincoln room 125 was ok. After a few hours, there were issues with the thermostat. It was 62 in rhe room. Adjusted it to 68. Next thing we knew, it was 85. Then, the display began acting erratic. The jetted bath/shower combination is in the main room. THERE IS NO FAN OR VENT FOR MOISTURE/STEAM IN THAT AREA. EVERYTHING IN THE MAIN ROOM WAS SWEATING AFTER WE HAD TAKEN OUR SHOWERS. Then, the thermostat went blank all together. After about an hour, the display came back on flashing 88.888 continuously with no control.

The place is super cool and very unique. The room was a lot of fun, and it’s close to food and other shopping.

I liked the themed room (Serengeti) hallway had an odd smell.
