A Dream Stay - Yet Again - We Have been returning to this hotel for years, and once again, our Stay was nothing short of a dream. Everything was simply perfect - from impeccable service to delightful breakfast, the outstandind restaurant and the beautiful ambiance. The pool and beach lounging areas are kept in prostine condition making relaxation effortless. The entire hotel grounds are flawlessly maintained and the rooms recently renovated offer absolute comfort and elegance. A heartfelt thank you the team for making our stay so wonderful. We will definitely be back

This is our sixth visit to this wonderful hotel and we will be certainly booking our stay for 2026 soon. There are a number of reasons this hotel is so special for us. It starts with the service from the staff, so many of whom have been with the hotel for years. They combine the wonderful warm instinctive thai hospitality with high levels of professionalism - they are really good at their jobs. Although we tend to keep ourselves to ourselves, there is an eclectic mix of clientele who contribute to a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere within the hotel - many, like us, are returning guests who no doubt will be there next year. Highlights for us this year were: - quality of the events (White Party, Thai New Year evening etc). I am not really into 'Fire Dancing' but the guys displaying their skills at Layana were incredible. - quality of the trips (Private picnic cruise, Sunset Cruise etc) - great Spa and Gym - some excellent food from the restaurant - great renovated room (even though its the basic offering within the hotel) - fantastic WIFI (really important because we have to work occasionally whilst on holiday) We understand from the manager that improvements are planned soon which is great because continual improvement plus the retention of the fantastic staff will ensure the hotel goes from strength to strength.

Estrutura e serviços impecáveis!Piscinas muito bem tratadas, jardins bem cuidados, academia com bons equipamentos, quartos amplos, muito confortáveis com ótimas amenidades, café da manhã com muitas variedades e tudo muito fresco. Equipe muito acolhedora, atenciosa e gentil! Ficamos muito satisfeitos com nossa estadia! Foi tudo perfeito!!

We stayed for eight nights a few weeks ago, me, my wife and two adult daughters. I cannot praise Franck and his staff highly enough! What you get at Layana is outstanding customer service in fabulous surroundings. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the food is excellent and the rooms and pool area are clean and welcoming. Whilst complimenting all staff, I have to mention a few who made our stay so memorable:- Franck: He is the General Manager of the resort and seems to be at work every single day! He is always available and can be seen around the grounds all the time. No doubt checking that the staff are maintaining standards but done in a quiet and effective way. Tim: He manages the food and beverages for Layana and is always on hand at meal times to check that all is okay and also to offer tips and advice on where to go and what to do. Su: Regularly seen at breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. So hard working and keen to ensure that everything is okay. Nan: We met Nan on our Saturday boat trip and he looked after us SO well. Nan is a credit to the Layana and such a nice guy. A man who is so proud of Ko Lanta. Thank you Nan for looking after us so well (Mr Jon)! If you travel to Layana for a break away from it all, you won’t regret it!

Outstanding, faultless hotel in every way! From the moment that you arrive until you leave, everything is perfect - from the incredible location, beautiful rooms, pools and gardens to the wonderful service given by all of the very friendly and polite staff - from Franck the manager onwards...... They make you feel so very welcome and can't do enough for you! The food in the restaurant is first class with an amazing selection at breakfast and a very comprehensive dinner menu. The service around the pool is always excellent. This was our third visit and we will definitely be returning (along with many of the other guests that we met) No complaints whatsoever, just a lot of praise for an amazing hotel!

Warm welcome on arrival and friendly, attentive service throughout our stay. Exceptionally clean room with lovely view over the pool. Gym was well equipped and the food at breakfast and in the restaurant was delicious. Literally the only bugbear was people reserving beach sun loungers early in the morning and then not using them until much later thus restricting availability for other people. Lovely to be waved off by the GM and some guests when we left on the boat on our final day.

Boutique Hôtel avec des prestations haut de gamme, des employés très bien formés et à l écoute de vos moindres demandes, tout cela dans la simplicité et avec beaucoup de sourires et gentillesse. L hôtel est très bien équipé rien ne manque. Les repas sont de qualité ,très frais, avec du choix, pour chaque plat vous pouvez choisir "pimenté" ou" pas du tout". C est notre 2ème long séjour dans cet hôtel et c est le seul endroit au monde ou nous sommes retournés telle notre satisfaction est sans égale. Un seul conseil : Allez-y 😎, qui plus est, les prix sont d un très bon rapport qualité-prix.

This is a beautifully maintained property on a flat site with direct access to Long Beach. Both pools are large with ample loungers and friendly service. Bedrooms are spacious, light, and modern. The food and drinks prices are fairly steep. However, food quality is excellent, particularly at dinner. Staff are without question the hotels greatest asset. Impeccable manners and everyone with that brilliant Thai smile. Close by ( 3 mins along the beach) is Lym's bar restaurant. Friendly and delicious, well priced food and drinks. And at the end of the hotel drive is Malina's kitchen - another favourite. Both should be booked as they're popular . You can have dinner and drinks for two for around £20-25. This is a great option for Northern Koh Lanta. We are glad we tried this hotel. However, after falling in love with Pimalai last year, we are now going back for the remainder of our holiday.

I don’t write reviews often, but this place truly deserves it! My husband and I are on a two-month honeymoon in Southeast Asia after a challenging year. This was our second stop, originally planned for four nights—but we’ve extended twice already and can’t imagine leaving. It’s unlike anywhere we’ve ever been, and I’ve never seen my husband more relaxed. Franck went above and beyond to accommodate our flexible plans, allowing us to experience different rooms. The beds and linens are incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up—if not for the breathtaking island and resort. We stayed in the villas, including La Maison with its private pool, but I highly recommend the Beach Villa for a cozy, beachfront experience with a private patio and sun loungers. The garden rooms also look well-equipped, and many guests praised their outdoor lounge spaces. The service is exceptional. The beach and pool staff keep you hydrated, offer fresh fruit, and even surprised us with a complimentary poolside massage. Breakfast by the sea is a classic resort buffet, elevated with fresh juice, ripe mango, and attentive servers who bring coffee the moment you sit down. With stunning pools just steps from the beach and plenty of seating at either, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The location is perfectly nestled on Long Beach with tons of options for food and drinks along the water if you want to explore outside the resort. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and already have hoped to come back in the future.
