Location and them of hotel

I booked a King Suite and when we arrived late were were told all kings were full and they gave us a double queen that was right next to the Bright sign ELIZA JANE blaring in our window on the front loud street. This is not what I booked!! and not what I paid for

"Great location and facilities. Comfortable bed and room, but do something about the smoke smell."

The lobby, live music and overall vibe was perfect.

The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. I just dealt with it, but the smoke lingered on my clothes and luggage well afterwards. The hotel also double charged me.

Loved staying at The Eliza Jane. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is super convenient to the CBD, Lower Garden District, and French Quarter. The public spaces were beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating lounge options. My room was very spacious and quiet even though it faced the outside, and the bed was so comfortable.

"Great hotel, convenient location with one small issue"

We wanted a hotel that was convenient to the French Quarter but not IN it so that it'd be quieter and calmer and given those criteria, this location was ideal. Front desk staff was warm, friendly and most helpful throughout our stay. Common areas are well designed and comfortable places to hang out in and the gym was well equipped. One issue was the very inconsistent hot water in the shower over our stay. The hotel was quite responsive to the problem but it didn't ultimately get resolved for a few days. However, in the end, the hotel did the right thing. Nearby, we liked Majoria's Commerce, an old school diner around the corner for breakfast, as well as Fourth Wall 3 minutes away for coffee in a cozy atmosphere. Overall, we agree we would return as the positives here far outweighed the shower issue.
