Good location, decent size rooms , clean pool and generally welcoming reception

loadshedding , the inverter kept tripping so nothing works and the aircon couldn’t work either during loadshedding which was miserable as the temperature was over 30 degrees celsius . There were small cockroaches found in room 2 &3 bathroom area . The lodge doesn’t offer complimentary shower cap and shampoo however the staff try to accommodate you with what’s at their disposal.

The quietness of the area, and proximity of the beach

The staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, kind and professional. Nothing was too much trouble; and that included all the staff, from the managers to the cleaners, gardeners, security people and the night shift. This is the second time we have stayed here and fully intend to return again and again.

I have no reason to criticise anything about Woodbridge Lodge as everything was great. I would however, make the general point that Booking.com tends to group different rooms together - photos don't distinguish between different rooms, making it difficult to understand which room you have booked. When you physically check the rooms out, you can understand more clearly what facilities exist in which room but that is not obvious from the information posted by Booking.com. I would therefore ask Booking.com to tailor the room descriptions specifically to each room instead of the broad brush technique currently utilised.

Room, Location, Cleanliness

The breakfast was quick, easy and amazing! The staff were really friendly and helpful.. always on standby to assist us.

Sometimes we woke up during the night and noticed that the TV in our room were on, after we switched it off before falling asleep.

The staf was friendly and professional and went out of their way to accommodate our requirements and make the stay for my daughter's wedding comfortable and memorable.
