Super 8 by Wyndham Shawnee

Don’t waste your time booking here honestly book the comfort inn or vatmont across the street . Hotel service is horrible, staff is rude, only one side of the facility has stair access the other side has to walk from the other side just to go downstairs, laundry is very crowded and machines aren’t well kept up. Rooms are nice and remodeled but housekeeping doesn’t like to change towels or sheets . Slow to care for guests says breakfast is available and isn’t .

The staff are very unfriendly. One gentleman was always looking into my room when he walked by. When I spoke to him I got no response. And elder woman inspected my dirty towels right in front of me and made rude faces at me but would not speak to me. If you’re family can’t be polite to your customers then you should keep them away from us. Housekeeping was a lovely woman but she was the only one who was.

$20.00 PER PET is excessive. I will not stay here again. Hotel was comfortable.

The cleanliness

It was ok except I have low mobility and it was hard coming out of the room and getting back in without having to call front desk to assist me after I fell on coming out.

Too much for lack of value, work on going I have to pay and at this point it is a marginal property.

Booked this room for the 24th because we were super sleepy driving home. Got a call from family for an emergency. So we still stopped at hotel to advise them we would not be able to stay due to needing to get back home asap. Counter lady said that expedia could issue a refund for our stay. So contacted expedia about the refund. They contacted hotel and hotel advised they don't issue refunds for booked rooms! What a damn joke.. 75.00 for a room we couldn't stay in and even took the time to stop in and speak to the owners..

Good place to stay.

Honestly, the room smelled so bad of weed and cigarettes. I made a Walmart run for two bottles of febreeze, scent smells, and sanitizer. We stepped outside and back in and we had it masked for our stay somewhat. The room and bathrooms were clean, everything worked. But the front desk girl had a don’t care attitude so I didn’t even bother trying to get a new room. Property was quiet and good. Sad the breakfast options were gone by 10 and no juice. I appreciate that dogs are allowed.
