Love this hotel … it’s in a perfect position … close to the beach and in the middle of easy walking areas Staff are mostly friendly and welcoming Reception very helpful 24 hours cover Cleaners start the day with a smile and a happy greeting and keep the room spotless Front bar staff are amazing … especially Adrian and his staff .. Esther, Moses, Azim and the lovely Ricardo Dining room staff not as welcoming … sometimes felt like being in school … particularly Alessandro … But also a mix of lovely staff in there Food is good A glass of water included with the evening meal would be much appreciated as most hotels include this at least, with evening meal

So mixed review not the worst or the best place we have stayed Kept awake at night if you want to go to bed before 11pm won’t happen tonight woken again by drunks Standard of entertainment at the pool bar fabulous Food ok best meal was the Asian night absolutely great Cleaning of rooms terrible Slow services at bars Rooms nice etc Pools lovely Some staff amazing Overall not worth the amount of money I paid but still an ok holiday

Everything was great kids loved the pool food was good staff was great till I met 1 guy who worked at the hotel I was putting my family's towel down on 2 sunbeds as we don't take 5 because other people want them and we can just use 2 we like to be at the side of the pool due to it being easier for us as our 3 kids are special needed anyway as I did this this guy started to tell me I could not put my towels on so I explained the situation and said that I will be bk in 5 with the kids I was going back to help my partner with the kids he just kept saying no and said I was not allowed I pointed out that other people had already reserved sunbeds he said nothing about this but went on to tell me if I leave the towels then he will remove them and throw them away after explaining my situation I thought this was a disgrace and when we went back down after sorting the kids they was no sunbeds close to the pool to make life abit easier for us but apart from that its been good anyway rant over.

Feels like going home ! We return year after year (17th visit) so I guess we quite like it! My father recommended the Fanabe years ago and so glad he did. Yes it’s in need of a bit of an update but the reason everyone goes back is because of the feeling you get when you’re there. We keep hearing about a closure to refurb but apparently that’s not happening so we keep booking! We request a certain floor and room we prefer and mostly we are accommodated. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and a fridge. We prefer a bath/shower so perfect for us. Great water pressure and again spacious. Rooms are cleaned daily and to a good standard. They made my birthday special with a complimentary gift which was lovely. We only do B&B which is our preferred choice every holiday. Breakfast is fabulous never been let down. If I could change one thing it would be to have an outside eating area off the restaurant as it can be very warm and noisy. We use the rooftop mainly during the day. Nice relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed the Pilates/yoga etc previously but this year there was non for some reason. There was no animation team visits at all this year so maybe it wasn’t popular. Another relaxed stay and wait to visit again Thank you

Love this hotel. Yes, it requires top to bottom refurbishment but we always find the accommodation very clean and comfortable. Initially, disappointed we weren't allocated the room we requested (152) but our room is fine. Staff are excellent throughout. Location is fantastic, with plenty restaurants nearby. Handy to have the supermarket across the road. Weekly market just round the corner if you're interested! Although we don't use the pool, it has been so encouraging to see Maintainance remove towels from 'reserved' beds! Entertainment is pretty poor and majors on the same 60's/70's songs each night but it's fine for us. We are B&B and there's plenty choice for breakfast although more fresh fruit and 0% yogurt would be great! Looking forward to our next visit and excited to see plans for the refurb !

Currently staying at hotel can't fault the hotel and food, what I do find is bad no ball games in pool and no inflatables well some people are allowed we got told weren't allowed both so if this is the case the rules need to go for everyone. I don't know what the problem is just playing pass with a soft ball. Just find rules to be a bit strict understand if this was in the baby pool but for the big pool and especially when they play water polo whats the difference. This does put us off booking this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the property is very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Although the hotel is not very modern, it is well maintained and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. We booked half board and tried both breakfast and dinner, and even changed dinner to lunch hoping for a better experience, but the food lacked flavour and taste every time. There was very little variety and overall the quality did not meet expectations. In our opinion, the half board option is not worth the extra money.

Despite reading some negative reviews we have enjoyed our experience here so much that we have already booked to come back next year. We really can't fault a single thing, the location, the facilities, the staff and the food have all been exceptional. The food in the all inclusive is buffet style so there's always going to be limitations as to what that can entail however we have been to other all inclusive resorts that haven't supplied as good or as tasty a selection. We have found our happy place and can't wait to come back again
