The Villa Toscana

Great location smack in the middle of Boystown. The room I stayed in had a European b&b charm, with wall art consistent to one theme; the beaches of French wine country. The room felt bigger than it looked in the pictures, and the TV was admittedly too small to be mounted so high off in a corner. The bathroom looked recently remodeled but did have a certain unsavory scent coming I think from the shower drain but it only lasted a few hours

It didn’t feel very private. Being the first door you encounter upon walking in, and said door having 1-2” gap from the floor, I could hear everything in the hall. They did provide a white noise machine but it wasn’t very effective unless the volume was set so high that it was constantly noticeable

The bed was uncomfortable and multiple things were not working. The owners were not friendly.

Very rude and unprofessional staff was racist and told us a black couple that the kitchen was closed and it was only 6! I told her it said it was closed at 10 and she said ok well the food is for the morning so don’t touch the food and we were like ok. But I seen a white couple come in the kitchen before us and eat and smoke and she didn’t say anything ! And she was watching us on the ring camera .

You could do a self checkin and checkout. And the instructions are very clear.

The day I stayed at the guest house, the outside is very noisy. It was like 3 a.m., but I still hear load noise outside.
