Avanti Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, close to town (1km) and all the restaurants and also close to the lovely coves and promenade that "walk" down to the harbour and town.

Excellent hotel for families, great pool area and entertainment program. Close to beach.

The hotel was excellent. Everything, even the enormous pool was spotless.I swam with googles and couldn't even find hair! breakfast caters especially for the British crowd, but was plentiful and tasty, maybe a bit more variety in cheeses and salads would be nice. For dinner a different type cuisine was served every evening. Another good feature is that the hotel is split to 2 sites: one the Avanti Hotel and the other the Avanti Village which caters for a younger crowd with families and kids and lots to occupy them. The hotel caters to an older crowd with for instance quiet relaxation by the pool. There is different entertainment every evening, much of it with a local flavour. We rented a car (careful - they drive on the left) and drove to the Trodos and many of the mythological sites on the island. We will certainly come back again.

Good hotel with modern room (I was on the 5th floor with mountain view) and friendly staff. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool which was great and big pool. What let the hotel down is the food. The breakfast was OK, get in early if you want the fresh fruit. The pool side food wasn't great and in the evening there is only a choice of half board buffet. No room service and no option to order off the menu. The hotel seems to cater to a slightly older clientele and families with children. So if you are going for a party with your friends you may want to stay somewhere else.

We have stopped at the Avanti Hotel three times and each time we feel that we are treated like part of a big family . "All" the staff are 100% excellent , the food is perfect with a different theme every night . The dining room is really well organised and laid out . The reception area and staff are fantastic . Evening entertainment is really well put together especially for children in the early part of the evening . The animation team are amazing and put on a really good evenings entertainment every night they are so friendly . The pool area is brilliant with hundreds of sun beds and a lovely pool bar . The general manager Savvas Mavrohannas is always available to talk to . If you are looking for a holiday in Pafos don't bother looking any further just book the Avanti Hotel and you will absolutely love it

Would have got a 5 *! A 4 star facility almost with 5 * service, except last day at pool restaurant, staff took out order, decided we should wait over 20 mins and served 2 other tables ahead of us. That was a shame. Otherwise, a super super place. Entertainment staff worked hard for adults and children and a top run place.

We arrived at the hotel at midnight and was greeted by a friendly receptionist as well as a cool drink. The hotel is spotless, your rooms are cleaned every day, the air conditioning is brilliant all over the hotel and in your rooms. The swimming pool is large and deep enough at one end to swim in. The staff arrange water fitness,water polo,water basket pool for adults and games for children. The breakfast is very good so varied along with a chef cooking pancakes,omelettes and fried eggs to order. We would definitely recommend. Plus it was my birthday and no-one had told the hotel but I was sent a bottle of champagne to my room. (They looked on my passport) it just made it so personal.

Great facilities and staff. Would definitely recommend
