Avanti Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is really good value for money, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels are provided if required. However, the bathrooms I found, although clean, were very dated, shower curtains which I am not keen on and small baths. If you are wanting peace and quiet (we had a small child who never got an early night all the time we stayed) i would book a room without a sea view as the evenings entertainment can be heard from all rooms with sea views. Oh and the entertainment was just OK! The pool was lovely but with that amount of people in it needs to be cleaned more regularly. The play facilities for children, although limited were good too! Overall we thought that the hotel was good but needed some up date.

We stayed here for 8 nights, bed and breakfast. Stay was pleasant, although the double-room was just two single beds rather than a double bed. Enjoyed the breakfast, quite a lot of choice and set us up for the days ahead very nicely. A few minor things could be improved - we didn't get top-ups of instant coffee and tea in our room daily, but maybe they were only meant as a 'welcome' set of items. We also lost one of our own bath towels on a windy day after we hung it on the balcony - after informing reception immediately, it was never retrieved and returned to us (I checked the balcony below right after, and knew where it was, and checked again after reporting, and it had already been taken). Other than that, really enjoyed staying at Avanti, was in a good location to get around Cyprus - definitely need a hire car to get the most out of the stay.

The hotel is in a good location close to some good restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.A lovely walk by the sea takes you to Paphos harbour from there you can catch a bus to the old town. Lots to see and do in the area it's worth hiring a car.

Bed and pillows, extremely comfortable, nice room simple decor with view of pool. Hotel had a lovely atmosphere with all ages and a really comfortable well used foyer/lounge area. Pool and gardens looked lovely, sat by pool and bar area and it was delightful with cats and kittens playing around Hotel well located for local restaurants, a 20 minute walk to harbour and car parking Breakfast choices were very good except for fruit juice machines

The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was great, the pool was inviting, there were plenty of sun loungers. Its worth upgrading for a seaview as its also a pool view room. The hotel is in a reasonably quiet area and just a 15 minute walk to the harbour.

HOTEL ABOUT 20 MINUTES ALONG THE SEA FRONT FROM PAPHOS HARBOUR. IDEAL EVENING WALK WE WERE B&B. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM. RECOMMEND THE GABOR, A FRENCH RESTAURANT ACROSS THE ROAD. THE BEST LOCAL BEACH WAS APPROX 15 MINUTE WALK TOWARDS PAPHOS. A SAFE BEACH WITH A MAN MADE BREAKWATER TO KEEP ALL BOATS AWAY FROM THE BEACH. VERY SANDY. VERY CHEAP LOCAL BUSE FARES. WENT TO CORALLIA BAY, THE NEXT BAY ON FROM CORAL BAY ALL FOR 5 EURO DAY TICKET.
