"Couples relaxing Holiday- Highly reccomend"

10.0

My boyfriend & I had a great holiday in Paphos staying at the Avanti. We wanted to relax, be lazy, near the beach, pool area, sunshine and an evening area with restaurants and bars that had an atmosphere- it delivered all of these things. Lots of couples in this area. We went B&B which was a good choice, the variety of breakfast was good & loved that you could eat outside on the large terrace but we enjoyed going out to eat every night at the different restaurants. Location was perfect- we spent days chilling by the pool, very relaxing. There are loads of man made beaches you can spend the day on & blue waters ( a little seaweed at times) In the harbour we went jumping off the piers and swimming in the water. Lots of cafes for great coffee & drinks. We took the 615 bus (1.50 euro each) from the harbour to Coral Bay one day- nice beach, good day trip Highly recommend: The Moorings Restaurant- on the harbour front, great happy hour prices many times a day Muse- a restaurant in the hills with stunning view of the city and the sunset. We walked from the hotel took about 40 minutes, food was delicious and reasonable (we were lucky to get a table, maybe pre book) Ta Mpania- bar/restaurant on the edge of harbour- loved the vibe and music here, frequently re-visited. Great coffee Overall we loved our holiday (people who wanted culture & that authentic vibe were slightly disappointed as the area is rather commercial)

"beautiful hotel and holiday"

10.0

I came here with my boyfriend as my first ever holiday abroad as he had been here on many occasions and I absolutely fell in love with the hotel and Paphos as a whole. Staff were friendly, especially the Animation Team. A couple of times I was forgotten about by one member of the pool bar team and had to wait a while for my bill. The reception team helped us out a lot with information of buses, the waterpark and any other bits and pieces we needed. Many people made us feel very welcomed in this hotel and it was sad to go home! I would love to come back again.

"Great hotel with wonderful staff"

8.0

My girlfriend and I just returned from 9 days at the Avanti Hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay. We opted for bed and breakfast but heard the food was fairly good. That said, there are plenty of very good restaurant's all within 200 metres of the hotel. I would recommend a pool view room on the 4th or 5th floor (slightly better view of the sea).

"Excellent relaxing hotel with friendly staff"

10.0

The hotel is near to sea, buses and restaurants, 15 min walk 5 min bus ride to harbour and has balcony, fridge in room, pool bar, bar with terrace, lovely lobby. Rooms are accessible by lifts. The rooms are spacious with double or twin beds with top sheet as well as duvet air con, fridge, flat screen TV with excellent reception of UK channels, safe for supplementary charge, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary 1 litre water, 2 small bottles of wine and fresh fruit on arrival. Drying rack on balcony (but no pegs so remember to take some). WiFi was excellent in room and bar and lobby areas. In bathroom there is a shower in the bath with both overhead shower and separate manually moveable shower hose. Provided in bathroom are hand and bath towels, shampoo and bath/shower gel, shower caps, sewing kit, every boards, cotton buds, cotton wool pads and a box of tissues. Pool towels are in the room on arrival- can be changed each day near the indoor pool between 10-11:30 am. You can leave a 'do not disturb' or 'make up room now' door hanger on door. All staff without exception are really polite and friendly and will happily provide local information. The lobby area is cool and clean with comfy chairs and sofas and there is a terrace area with tables and seating outside. Both are served by bar staff for soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and teas and coffees.

"Nice hotel with very friendly staff"

10.0

I had a very good experience at the Avanti Hotel. Breakfast was out of this world, however the same cannot be said about the evening meal, I am aware it has a new Chef De Cuisine and it takes time to get things right but I will return as you can always improve

"Amazing Avanti"

My 3rd time back in Paphos but 1st at The Avanti. The hotel was amazing! Staff are friendly and accommodating of requests. The food I could not fault, plenty of variety. I'd struggle to think of any improvements!

"Large hotel in lovely setting with plenty of trees"

10.0

We went in mid April when the hotel was not very full. There was plenty of space and a restful atmosphere. Things may change a bit later with more people about. The gardens were lovely with plenty of tree shade.

"nice hotel, great pools, nice staff, too hot"

10.0

Nice hotel, quick transfer to via taxi, 30 mins walk to harbour about 10 mins to air conditioned shopping centre. Hotel clean, pool clean, can use pool and facilities at sister hotel 'avanti village'. Their pool is bigger but busier, and it's a bit noisier over there. Saw a few families transferring to this hotel for more peace. Entertainment looked good, but our kids contracted a local virus (24 hr sick bug and viral rash) shortly after arriving, one after another and then were tired for a few days so we didn't get to see any of it other than what we saw from our balcony. Used the local medical centre, they were lovely and all done on our travel insurance. breakfast at the hotel was a huge variety and could get omelettes cooked fresh and fresh pancakes. Introduced my kids to poached eggs on toast, their new favourite. Too hot to eat much in the day, at first ate at the pool bar restaurant (nice food) but such large portions, come the end of the week we just went up to out room at midday for drinks and snacks for lunch. Better to eat in the evening. The harbour was lovely to eat out at. Used the hotel restaurant for their BBQ evening and was impressed, lovely food and it's all you can eat so you can keep going up and choosing different things to try. Would have loved to go on a few day trips, Cyprus has so much to offer. It was so hot though, (harbour thermometer said it was 29 degrees at night!) up in the high thirties in the day that you couldn't do a lot (August)

"laud music"

8.0

music outside too laud and for too late in a night. Most of customers in the hotel with 400+ rooms can't sleep till 11pm/12am just because of laud entertainment for maximum 30 guests who watching that.
