"Standard acceptable hotel chain"

Not many lodging options on Bainbridge Island, so I was glad to find a hotel (for one night) that was walkable distance from Bainbridge Performing Arts and to the ferry next morning .... with just my backpack.

"Crappy little hotel painted to look nice. "

NO elevator for second floor rooms and not on listing. Room was stuffy hot and AC unit didn’t work; had to have windows open (over walkway, so much for safety) until we got Fan only to work at 11pm. They have new paint but old rattling fan facilities. Staff was totally indifferent and misdirected us. No facilities. Stay somewhere else

"Comfortable but needs a little work cosmetically."

Our stay was comfortable, but there were a lot of cidmetic improvements to be done. Also, the bathroom fan was very loud and the ironing board was useless.

The thing that really stands out about this motel was not feeling safe. There were only a few cars in the parking lot. There was a man sitting at the top of the outside stairs smoking. It would be hard to find another place in this affluent neighborhood that one would feel unsafe.
