Hotel Best Jacaranda

The bar upstairs outside at the pool was fantastic It was so nice of the hotel to leave a bottle of champagne for my husbands birthday, a lovely touch.

La atención de un camarero del desayuno soy celíaca y el fue clave para que yo tuviese todos los dias lo necesario como cualquier huésped. GRACIAS

La excursión diaria para llegar a la habitación y en el desayuno no haber un rincón para celíacos ya puesto con variedad como en cualquier hotel hoy en dia se su misma e incluso menos categoría. Esos son puntos negativos que pongo como sugerencia. Por lo demas todo bien sin mas. Gracias.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and efficient, the amenities inside the hotel were great - lots of pools, fantastic for kids, the food was very good overall, a gym and an amazing jewelry store inside reception that took a fair bit of my money 😂 the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the cleaners - the rooms were not overly clean, definitely sub par to what I would expect from such a grand hotel. Overall though, well worth the money

Absolutely fantastic staff who helped me hugely when I had an injury (injury did not happen at the hotel). Our lovely cleaning lady asked how I was every day and the reception staff organised everything for us when I needed medical help. The room and the food were amazing and the location of the hotel is great too. Would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel, We enjoyed our stay and would come back however we do have a few isssues; The reception staff are incredibly rude. We checked in and she was extremely abrupt and not very welcoming. When we checked out the man didn’t ask if we enjoyed our stay or wish us safe travels like you’d expect, also no please and thank yous. The bar staff and cleaners Were very friendly, couldn’t fault them. The rooms were clean and tidy, we stayed Thurs- Mon and the rooms were cleaned daily. Fresh towels each day. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything from next door. Our neighbours had a very noisy door so could hear this when opening and shutting. There are a few areas around the pool where tiles or boards had come Loose. The hotel pools are absolutely freezing!! we sat around both areas ( upstairs and downstairs) The poolside entertainment seemed ok but they didn’t bother us like some hotels. We stayed and watched one show which was tragically awful. It was an ‘acrobatics ‘show which consisted of a middle aged man running around the stage and then spent the rest of the show blowing bubbles. We weren’t not sure if it was children’s entertainment or not. We wouldn’t recommend staying to watch. Lots of nice local bar and shops

Overall, the stay was quite mixed. The food was okay, but there were a couple of days where the quality was really poor and we had to eat out. On a positive note, the desserts were consistently nice and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels very outdated, and this shows especially in the rooms. The bathrooms were not clean and had visible black dirt/mould, which was quite off-putting. The facilities overall were also not very appealing and could definitely use improvement. If you want an aesthetic stay this is not the place for you. Another downside was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms, you can hear everything, which made it difficult to relax properly and to sleep. The walk to the Siam park free bus is very close and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Overall, while there were a few positives, the cleanliness, noise, and outdated facilities made the experience disappointing and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.
