The Holiday Chalet

Arrived and could not enter due to need for a security code to open door, which they never sent. They sent one later on day of check-in I think, but that was too late. Had to reserve at the Sheridan for $$$. That sucks.

Lots of homeless outside the front door and the air conditioner wasn’t working very well.

this place does not refund you even if they say they will! the moment i got there, there were homeless people all around the hotel. the air conditioning did not work. when i walked into my room, the bathroom window to outside was WIDE open, as if a homeless person had come inside! it’s also dirty inside. DO NOT stay here, just trust me on this.

Inside was cute, but the inability to come and go due to the homelessness and drugged out people caused us to cancel our second night. Cops had to be called just so could get into property. Was told to park vehicle blocks away because unsafe and no parking.

I didn’t even check in, there was a sleeping bag at the door and homeless people are in the front.

The hotel was good but the immediate area around it has a large homeless population but a minute walk off the road and you are in lovely leafy suburbs.
