Super 8 by Wyndham Spartanburg/I-26 Exit 22

I was sent to a room that was not cleaned, the second room was also not cleaned properly hair was everywhere in the sink tub, sheets had cigarette burn marks in a non smoking room. Unacceptable I was too tired and frustrated to move to a third room.

Skip this one The first room they put us in: Kinng Sheets worn to death and thin, yet still horridly stained discusted,, the late night clerk (she was by far the only good thing about the stay) put is in a double queen room, again, all the sheets need changed (trashed) immediately. We put the one good ish bottom and the top off the other bed together to have one we could sleep on. missing wall plates open circuits Bath vent falling off the wall

This was without a doubt the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. We completely rejected the first room as it was disgusting and the AC did not work at all. The second room had a working AC and we could not find another room for a reasonable rate anywhere else so we went to Target and bought $80 in cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves. The pool was closed, the floors were sticky, what looked like blood was running down the wall and pooled on the floor, the AC filter was completely clogged, the shower was full of hair (not just in the drain), the sheets were dirty, the beds (both) were badly stained, the toilet was dirty. It took two towels and three wet swiffer pads to clean the floors to a point where I felt comfortable taking my shoes off, the halls were just as bad with cigarette butts stomped out on the floor, some nasty stuff on the elevator walls that looked like they had never seen a rag, and on the morning we left, vomit all over the trash can by the elevator running down the wall. When we checked out the nice guy at the desk told us that he had already had five complaints just that morning about the place being filthy. Never, ever, have I seen a hotel this filthy. We were on a long road trip and stayed in ten hotels just on this trip, several of them Super 8s, some were cleaner than others, but this one made the second worst look like a hospital operating room in comparison.

After checking in and setting up our medical devices for the night, and taking our prescription medicine to be able to sleep, as I started to fluff my pillow, a bedbug crawled out from the pillowcase. We caught it in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk to show them. They were apologetic and gave us a different room, so we had to move everything into the new room, re-set up our medical devices, and inspected all of the linens. There were piles of different bugs in each corner, as there was in the first room. We were unable to lie on the bed and unable to safely drive, so we basically sat in a chair and napped for a few hours until we were safe enough to drive again. Again, the staff was very nice. The cleanliness was horrible. Since we booked through Expedia, they could not refund our cost for the room. I would like Expedia to refund our cost, since the experience was extremely disappointing and we relied on Expedia to represent good, clean facilities.

Our room had not been cleaned, the floor was nasty and had spill spots everywhere. There were dead roaches on the cabinet where the TV sat as well as under the sink. I had bleach wipes with me so I cleaned it myself.

this hotel is over run with roaches and drug dealers. The building smells like pot when you walk in and it is in horrible shape! our door was broke and would not lock, and the roaches would have packed off a suitcase had i put it down.

Main room door to the lobby didn’t shut or lock. Room smelled, appliances were broken, everything was filthy and in need of repair. This hotel is perfect for a third world country, not for any town USA.

Bed bugs

Would not recommend this place. First two rooms were dirty. Third room was ok. The building reaked of Marijuana.

This property was appalling! The first room that we checked had a door that wouldn't shut. The second room appeared to be OK. When we actually got into the room, it was very dirty, and when I turned down the bed, there were crumbs and stuff n the sheets. There was dirt everywhere. I sanitized the room and got new sheets to change the bed. I did not expect fancy but did expect clean. We were traveling & just wanted to sleep !!!! I wanted to move, but my husband has a back issue & did not want to move since it was late. There was no one else that worked there but the lovely desk clerk. She was so apologetic and embarrassed about the entire event. Another couple had the same thing happen to them. I gave her some wipes to clean her room! I have never had to clean our room and pay for it!!!
