Super 8 by Wyndham Spartanburg/I-26 Exit 22

Property was in need of update. Area was not desirable.

The bed was comfy and the towels were soft. The room and bathroom were dirty. Could use a little TLC.

Paint peeling, tiles falling off shower area, faucet not secured to sink. Did not perform house keeping during stay. AND bed bug infestation!

Room was really dated I have a microwave but no refrigerator. I really don’t see the need for this big dresser in the room taking up space. I have stayed in better rooms in this super8. But I will be back I want let this one night change the overall place.

It was nice that we did not have to go far to eat. After entering our room we found we had no ice bucket, no cups, no remote for the TV and only 1 bath towel for 2 people. Unfortunately we found these things out 1 at a time. At breakfast there was no decaf coffee, no orange juice, no butter, and they were out of waffle mix. They made more waffle mix but the waffle maker would not cook it through. There was no butter for toast so we each took an apple and left noticing how dirty the floor was because the sunlight was streaming across it. Also, the ac/heat was not working correctly.It did not feel safe because there were people loitering around the building and we saw the police come and take someone away. We will never stay at another Super 8.

The room wasn’t properly prepared for guests. The tv and frig were not plugged in. Floor and frig both needed cleaning. Location was good for a quick stop. Breakfast was included in the room rate but we didn’t try it, so don’t know what they had.

There were dead roaches in the dirty fridge, the microwave filthy with food splattered all over and the inside roof had spaghetti sauce all over it, dirt all over the floor, first floor window wouldn’t lock

Didn’t stay - sent to best western across street as they did not have a room with 2 queen beds as reserved

This place is just awful! Understaffed, filthy, falling apart, not offering the basic amenities of any modern motel like soap, drinking cups, and to-go lids

The one woman working there, Tanika, was wonderful. Everything else was way below acceptable. First, she was the only person there and all the rooms needed cleaning. There were people lined up waiting and standing in the halls waiting and sometimes yelling and with sleeping children in their arms and tired and sad children sitting in lobby chairs. There was blood on our sheets and the floors were gritty. The management doesn’t provide lids for to go coffee cups. There was no soap nor any cups in our room.
