Hilton Saint Augustine Historic Bayfront

The hotel was within easy walking distance to great restaurants and places of interest. The front desk staff were very personable. Valet parking was $40 each day. The 3 of us stayed in a room with 2 queen beds located in a separate building from the main hotel. We had a first floor balcony which faced the main road and was bayfront but also very near pedestrians walking by. The beds were comfortable but overall the room was very basic considering the room rate was quite expensive.

The hotel experience doesn't quite measure up to neither its brand nor the high room rates. The rooms are tiny, not even a sofa or anything comfortable to sit on. The moldy smell is the crown jewel of this place which is unfortunate. Balcony is a nice feature - on paper, but its not private. Although the gentleman at the front desk was extraordinarily pleasant, the general front desk experience is quite slow. I observed 2 agents servicing 1 guest while waiting in line. F&B credit for upper elites has its own interpretation here that contradicts with Hilton. According to front desk, if you start using your credit, it must be used by midnight or the remaining portion will be forfeited? On the bright side, the restaraunt is expensive enough so that the f&b can be spent and overspent at once. Parking-valet only- is $40 which is justifiable by busy location; however, if you can walk 5 mins to city garage, it is $5 to park there after 5pm. Overall, a dissapointing experience.

Great location!

The flooring in our room was missing a piece in the corner under the desk. No biggie but just expect better from Hilton. Also first night I took a shower there was no shower gel! Had to call desk for replacement bottle! You’d think this would be checked before guests arrive. Also thought $40 parking fee per night was high! Still a nice stay in St. Augustine!

Small. Not massive hotel. Location by the water. Lots of galleries.

Wonderful stay with comfy room convenient and close to all restaurants and activities! Beautiful view of the historic waterfront.

Fantastic location. Right in the historic district close to the fort, shops and restaurants. Hotel looks like a group of colonial buildings and in keeping with the historic district. Rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Minor inconvenience of restaurant not being fully open due to the renovation but that was almost complete.
