Quality Inn Plainfield I-395

Walked in and it smelt so bad of mold mixed with a very disgusting smell. Can not explain the stench but it was AWFUL. Went to rooms and floor felt like you were going to fall through it. There were several places that the floor was very very soft and felt unsafe to say the least. Mold on ceiling and very dirty. The courtyard was an entire disaster and FILTHY. Very unsafe with dirt, tons of the owners plants EVERYWHERE, grime, and VARMINT TRAPS in the courtyard. Looked more like a junkyard than a courtyard. My two year old grandson wanted to be outside and there was not a safe place to be outside with him due to the courtyard being not only unsafe for an adult but absolutely unsafe for a two year old to play with supervision of course. It was really gross and there were several intoxicated men that approached my daughter and I. We were scared and rushed back inside quickly. Staff was putting out the continental breakfast items around 11:30 pm for the next morning. Wanted yogurt and looked at several and realized they were expired by three weeks along with other food items. We stayed until I could find another hotel. Which we ended up staying at the Bellissimo Grande Foxwoods and it was AMAZING. Staff was so friendly at the Bellissimo and seemed to really enjoy working there. So clean and spotless! Food and drinks were superb. The waterfall in their courtyard just what we needed after all we had been through. Want a AMAZING hotel BELLISSIMO GRANDE FOXWOODS IS A PLACE FOR YOU!

Check in was 3 to 3:30 only. Had to call to get someone at the deask to check in at 3:05. Have to pay a service fee of 2.50 which they charged after we were already paid in full. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was very basic.. microwave egg, sausage biscuit, waffles, cereal, packaged danish, yogurt, juice.

The only bad thing was the road construction

Outside of the floor being a little dirty it was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The pool was down for maintenance for the weekend. Seems like a common thing with hotels so they don't have to deal with it but can still advertise they have one. We'll see in a couple of weeks if it's still down after being told only a couple of days.

Rude to my pregnant girlfriend about coffee. Rusty shower, uncomfy beds and terrible breakfast. The pool wasn’t even open!

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, convenient for a last minute cancellation from another hotel.

The pool is constantly “under maintenance” they have a fake sign stating that but its been shut down for several years so they shouldn’t advertise it if it’s unavailable permanently. The breakfast selection was very minimal but not bad.

Worst experience we have had in a long time - rooms reeked of smoke - hallway reeked of curry - staff was uncaring and not helpful at all - the AC leaked and barely functioned - do not stay here

very friendly staff, helpful and quiet like sanctuary. Clean room, spacious and newly renovated too! overall a good experience!

The beds were hard as rock. No fan in bathroom. Had difficulty with air conditioner. Cleaners forgot to replace the shower curtain when they cleaned.
