Hoi An Ancient House Resort & Spa

The gardens are just so beautiful! The buildings and surroundings....The hotel is also in good proximity to really lovely restaurants and not too far from the old town but definitely not close enough to walk.

The staff were only helpful after some unfortunate things happened during our stay. Some staff were not very friendly upon arrival, which just doesn't set a good tone for first impressions. We have two very young children, and unfortunately, they found the mosquito repellent/oil burner on the floor in the corner of the room -it had been left there by the cleaning team. Thank God the contents were natural, but it still became an awful experience, as our young baby managed to rub himself with the oils, which caused a terrible allergic reaction, massive discomfort for him, and a huge amount of worry for us, since we didn’t know what had happened at first. It really dampened the whole experience. Even though these things happen and the staff were incredibly apologetic, it was just all around a horrible experience and could have been terrible if the contents had been poisonous. They did offer us a shuttle to the airport to apologize, and we appreciated their concern for our children.

Everything was fantastic as usual. This was my 4th time staying at Ancient house and already booked to stay again in September.

It was super chill and quiet- a little oasis away from the old town and busy streets. It truly felt so peaceful and was so relaxing by the pool and in the gardens.

Hoi An ancient house resort and spa is absolute beautiful beautiful accommodation. I would highly recommend staying there, amazing facilities and breakfast, good location from old town and amazing staff. Upon arrival the stay were extremely friendly and nothing was too much for them. Minh and the team went above and beyond for our needs and even went out of their way to organise breakfast packs as we had an early check out. We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night!
