Sanbona Wildlife Reserve

The expertise of the guides, the friendliness of the staff, viewing the animals, all wonderful! People with bad backs should not take this tour. The Jeep rides are rough!

really enjoyed our stay at Dwyka lodge. The staff are extremely attentive, you really get look after. Fantastic way to unwind, be close to nature in the comfort of amazing facilities- well thought- to the smallest detail. We understand that this is a non- profit reserve, which is another good reason to go there.

Wonderful stay, excellent facilities and great hospitality and service. The Rangers are very knowledgeable and have great off-roading driving skills. This is a superior accommodation and holiday location. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Dwyka tents which are luxurious "glamping" tents. Our ranger, Jordan, showed us a variety of animals and birds including lions and giraffes. The Karoo landscape means that it is easier to see the animals than in reserves with larger vegetation. It was an amazing experience, and worth the price.
