Gran Hotel Sóller

Wonderful hotel, staff make this a great hotel, from the minute you check in you are made to feel welcome, rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is varied and everything is freshly prepared. The town centre is only 3 minutes walk where their are a great variety of bars and restraunts, or you can eat in the hotel restraunt which has a variety of dishes on the menu. Good sun deck and the Spa pool/sauna/gym is very accessible. Great hotel for a relaxing break, we will continue to keep coming back. Thanks to everyone at the Gran Hotel, Soller

This was our fourth consecutive visit to this superb hotel, again in late April, an ideal time for hiking. We so appreciate the warmth of the welcome and the quality of the service here from all the staff - at Reception and in the restaurants at dinner and breakfast. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and we were made to feel very special guests. Once again the hotel was able to accommodate us in “our”preferred room - away from the front, quiet and spacious. The cleaning and maintenance team are also excellent behind the scenes. We love the food here - lavish breakfasts to set us up for our all-day hikes, and superb cuisine at dinner. We always have dinner in the hotel rather than in town, but this year for the first time there was no half-board option, so we dined (noticeably more expensively) à la carte. (As an aside, it was also noticeable that the hotel restaurant was less busy than in previous years. We wondered whether restoring half-board or at least a fixed price menu would encourage more guests to eat in.) But the food itself was as sensational as ever, with so much variety that we could easily have chosen something different every night. We could not resist eating three courses each time, discovering mid-week that the pork with rice dish was to die for, and finishing almost always with the rich chocolate dessert! We also stuck to our favourite white wine, the Nounat cuvée, still great value (and at the same price as last year). We are grateful to everyone who made our stay so special and look forward to returning next year.

Thankyou for a great stay. My friend and I loved the hotel and were very well looked after. Everyone was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Can’t ask for more. Lovely bedding and a great sized bathroom. Super breakfast with so many lovely choices and replenished regularly. The roof bar was a tranquil getaway from the bustle of the square. Can’t wait to return, thankyou

We love Gran Hotel Soller - hotel has lots of friendly staff who are always helpful and welcoming. Great roof terrace with pool and also a indoor pool for cooler days if needed. General wear and tear in decor can give the hotel a slightly jaded feel but we keep going back so clearly doesn't put us off! Breakfast cannot be faulted and the breakfast team are particularly fantastic - special shout out to them for all their hard work. Housekeeping team are often unnoticed in hotels but they do a great job here and must be thanked too for their efficient and cheerful service. Soller can be very busy and a little frantic during the day but by evening is quiet, calm and a pleasure to spend time in. Lots of bars and restaurants for all tastes - something to please everyone. The area has lots of amazing walking and you can be away from the centre and up in the hills in no time at all.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Gran Hotel Sóller. Rooms are large and very clean. Absolutely beautiful views from the windows. Close to everything. Bathroom shower and tub are lovely. Breakfast in the morning is amazing. Rooftop bar and pool are massive bonus. Also they gave us a key to a parking lot in Port de Soller which was amazing.

Our first visit to Mallorca and staying at the gran was the perfect introduction to a magnificent island. The staff were the wonderful, super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfasts were great and location right in the centre of Soller could not have been any better. We don’t normally stay in hotels but we will definitely be back later this year. A must if you are in Soller.

This was our second visit to this hotel. Our first visit was exceptional, this visit even surpassed this. The hotel is right in the middle of Soller absolutely convenient to the shops, restaurants, tram to Port de Soller and train to Palma. Our bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were probably the best part of our stay. They were all friendly, helpful, efficient and made our stay so memorable. We love this hotel so much we have already booked for next year. We would really recommend this hotel to anyone.
