San Anselmo Inn

The cookies!!

So convenient. Very walkable to dining and activities. San Anselmo had this great street night where they closed the main road and everyone was out eating and listening to music, but when we returned to our room we didn't hear any of it. The furniture is a little sparce and worn out, but everything was clean.

It felt like I was staying in a college dorm but with a bigger bed. No a/c, the accent wall was made up of shiny ply wood, parking across the street, my view outside was a concrete wall. It was terribly warm when I arrived and since there’s no a/c, decided to open the window but since it’s a Friday and there’s a wine bar downstairs, it was loud. Had one of the worst sleeps I had in a while

It’s a little funky- older fixtures and the beds aren’t great. But the location is lovely and it’s a traditional old school Inn which is interesting.

Was just the place we needed for an overnight stay.

Such a quirky little place, it was smack in the heart of downtown San Anselmo. Quaint, clean and quiet, I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly and helpful host. Valenti’s restaurant directly next door was excellent. Loved my time here!

Delightful small hotel. I was meeting a group for dinner and did not want to drive back to Sonoma Co. This was a perfect spot for me.

I could tell they were trying to make this a boutique hotel. Not quite there yet Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower knob was broken and I had to borrower pliers to get a shower. Never saw any staff. I am hoping that they are working on getting in better condition.
