Metro Hotel and Cafe

This is one of the coolest hotels that I’ve ever visited. We liked it so much the first week that we came back to stay another night a week later. Plus they let bring our puppy. I probably took 50 pics of the grounds just to remember this place.

The hotel looks nice, but the owner is very difficult to do business with. Please be careful dealing with them. They kept part of my money and would not fully refund it, even though the item I received was not as promised

The café was never open. They charge for everything, even coffee pods/water in the room and they had a number to call if someone wasn’t around to help you but nobody ever answered the phone

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at this lovely boutique hotel! Firstly- the hotel management was the most authentic kind hearted and caring people ever! In particular…the young man that I encountered at check-in who was like your family member insuring that you just arrived home from a bad day and he just raised you up to cloud 9! If you love French vintage garden and wire upholstered 40’s fabulous banquettes seating in the cafe transporting you into Europe ..and cool antique everything including glistening Airstream trailers as groovy cool suites to stay in that sit shining bright in a olive tree filled twinkle lights filled garden with the sweetest chickens like on your grandma’s farm …in this most fabulous special gem CHARMING boutique hotel with the most down to earth- kind- caring- the nicest people ever- THEN STAY HERE!!!! I ADORE THIS DARLING HOTEL!!!!! THE PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ARE SPECTACULARLY WONDERFUL!!!!!

The metro Inn was super charming. We stayed for a couple of nights and got great sleep both nights. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms were adorable and we even had a light up goose in our room!

The staff was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and very spacious. We liked the extra chair and table and chairs in the room. Felt like we could walk around! Housekeeping came everyday. Location of the hotel was excellent - a short distance from the main bustle to keep it quiet, but downtown very close. Didn't have breakfast this time, but it has been really good in the past, especially the chocolate crepes! Value is good! They accommodated our stay. Had stayed here a few times before and will come back!!!

The bed was a little hard for my back. My wife thought it was fine. Should have asked for a bed topper, if they had one! Parking can be challenging as you may have to park in front or around the side.
