When I checked in, I just realized it was a trailer, which only had a desktop portable heater. This is unbelievably bad, especially considering the price charged! My wife and I were shocked by the conditions! We decided to not stay that night and left right away. On our whole life, we never stayed in a trailer, not to mention a paid one with $226! When I called the hotel the next day, I was told to contact Booking.com and the person who received a call tried to blame me for my own mistake and never apologize for the shabby condition! I want my money back!!!

Bedroom and bed size, shower size, stairs (to go up and down with suitcases).

French-themed historic property walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Great on-site restaurant for breakfast.

Wonderful quirky hotel. Variety of rooms. Suitable for different size groups. Everything done well. Petaluma was a very pleasant surprise in terms of offerings.

My wife and I decided to do something different for our anniversary this year and booked the Honeymoon Trailer at the Metro Hotel and Cafe. What a fantastic choice! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed. The hotel goes all out for the holidays, and the Halloween decorations were absolutely incredible, creating a fun atmosphere. The customer service was top-notch. Kobe, in particular, was attentive, friendly, and just amazing, making us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. We had a wonderful time exploring the grounds, playing Bocce ball, and relaxing by the fire pit in the evening, enjoying the lovely fountains on the patio while taking advantage of the wine they put out for guests. The trailer itself was perfect. It was impeccably clean with a very comfortable bed. We loved the thoughtful touch of having "The Long Long Trailer" on DVD available to watch, which was such a fun and thematic addition to our stay. Being located right downtown was another huge plus, making it an easy walk to all the local shops and restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a more unique and enjoyable anniversary trip!

Stayed here in the 2 Bedroom Suite over the weekend. We were in town moving our son to Petaluma. I’m giving this a provisional 5 Stars only because we were too busy to really take advantage of the hotel. But what we saw we liked. The hotel itself is excellently located. Close enough to walk to downtown Petaluma, but far enough away so you can still park in the street. Location alone makes it a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, well decorated and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and laid back. And for the area, the price seemed right. The winding stairs to the second floor were tricky to navigate with luggage. There is a small parking lot and ample street parking Loved their Halloween decorations. If you want to try something quaint and quirky I would give Metro Hotel and Cafe a shot Unfortunately we didn’t get to take advantage of the cafe or the evening wine. Next time for sure.

Loved it all!

Such an eclectic and whimsical aesthetic with lots of French influence and flair. It was my first time staying in an Airstream trailer and it was such a fun and unique experience. The bed for me personally was comfortable but it is on the softer side (there is a foam mattress pad) so people who prefer firm beds may not appreciate it as much. The staff were friendly and courteous. It was far enough from central commercial area to be serene but still within 10-15 minutes walk.

There aren’t sufficient parking spaces to accommodate all guests. There’s a good sized private lot but all the spots were taken by the time I arrived back at the hotel at night but street parking was available.
