Metro Hotel and Cafe

Kitchen well furnished. Beds were very comfortable!

Loved the chickens in the yard. The hotel should block off the chickens from path to door. Chickens made mess on pathway that needed to be cleaned to avoid stepping in poop.

Great checkin person. Creative place with spirit. Good French breakfast. Shower in old bathtub was dangerous. Recommend a room with safer and more modern shower.

I loved my stay at Metro! It was walking distance to downtown Petaluma a with great shops and restaurants. I stayed in one of the air streamers which was so cozy and comfortable and clean. The cafe offered a few choices of wine in the afternoon which was nice to enjoy by the fire pit, or in my own “yard”, complete with pink flamingoes. In the mornings, coffee, crepes, and breads were available. I especially loved the French themed atmosphere. The people were wonderful and helpful, even before I arrived. I highly recommend Metro, and will definitely return.

Everything was great. Probably a roll down shade in front of the door to block out light when sleeping.

It's not right in the middle of downtown, and the parking can be a little daunting. However, the property is super cute and charming, and the staff are friendly. Considering the other lodging options in the area, this hotel is a very good value and I wouldn't be surprised if we stay there again in the future.
