I enjoyed my stay at this unique and creative venue! I felt like I was in Europe! Easy walk to town and restaurants. Fun crepe breakfast. Colorful atmosphere. Not your run of the mill hotel!

"Excellent stay in a unique place"

10.0

The location is an easy walk (10 mins) to the downtown area. The rooms are unique and don’t feel like the chain hotels. The ability to store food and ice packs in the communal large fridges was appreciated as we were roadtripping with a cooler. Loss of comfortable seating areas (inside and out) to relax. The stairs to the upstairs rooms may be difficult to navigate for some people but there were some ground floor rooms available. Room was quiet, had AC (but we left the window open for fresh air), had coffee pot and mini fridge with drinks etc but had to use the communal fridge to store our own items, which was no problem. Shower in IT room had a very high rain shower head and pressure and hot water were not an issue. Enjoyed it stay here and recommend it to those that want something different. We could not participate in the breakfast because we had to leave so early.

"Cute boutique hotel close to downtown Petaluma"

9.0

Boutique with loads of touches. Easy walk into downtown Petaluma. Loved the decor. Very warm welcome by staff.

Floor in my room could have been cleaner. The walls seem a bit thin. I could hear all of my neighbors and lots of hallway noise.

"Quaint Stay in Petaluma"

8.0

I recently stayed here for two nights during my travels. We picked this location because it was right in the middle of things we wanted to see in Santa Rosa (about a 30 min drive) and Sonoma (a little less than 30 minute drive). The town of Petaluma, was about a 5-10 minute walk down the street. It's not the most scenic walk, but the town itself was very cute with a lot of options for restaurants right near the river. The hotel has their own parking lot, but we mostly opted to park right in front on the street, there was always available free parking and there never was an issue. My friend and I booked the Family Suite, which was perfect for us, located on the second floor of the main inn. The room was quite large, and even though there wasn't necessarily a door between our two sleeping quarters, it still felt very private, with our own space to spread out. We each had massive TV's (65 inches) for each of our "room areas", and plenty of chairs to sit in and relax in. The room was also very, very clean, with comfortable beds. We also loved the French theme throughout our room, and throughout the inn. It was quite charming, and made the inn really stand out amongst many plain and boring chain hotels. The hotel offers a $10 breakfast, but we never ended up getting it. It's served in a very cute dining area, but the options weren't enough for us. They had crepes, some fruit, cake, hard boiled eggs, and coffee, but we were looking for maybe a little more. One thing we really liked about the hotel were the seating areas outside. Every morning we sat out and had coffee at one of the many tables. We also one evening made use of their fire-pit. We ended up sitting out there for hours, and chatting with some of the other friendly guests. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Clean facilities, a cute theme, and a super friendly and accommodating staff. The only negatives for us were that they don't provide hand soap for the bathroom. When I inquired, I was told to just use the large bath gel bottle that was given to me for showering. We actually ended up walking down to 7-11 to buy some soap. I think most guests would probably like the option of an antibacterial pump soap or at least a bar. Lastly, there are lots of throw rugs on top of throw rugs, in the hallways especially on the second floor. I imagine they were there to mute the sound of footsteps on the wooden floor, but more times than not, we actually ended up tripping on them. Other than that, the stay was perfect, and we would definitely love to come back.

"A totally pleasant experience in a unique setting"

10.0

What a discovery this was … right in the heart of Petaluma! We enjoyed every part of our stay, from the uniquely decorated, comfortable rooms to the thoughtfully laid-out public spaces, to the fun little cafe that serves fresh crepes and eggs from their own chickens. Did I mention the French radio station playing during breakfast? The owners are very helpful, and genuinely nice. We had a glitch because one of our party had used a third-party app that didn’t work (looking at you, Trivago). They patiently sorted everything out while still making us feel like valued guests. So … five stars with a chef’s kiss. We’ll be back!

Cute hotel with a good proximity to restaurants. Well decorated and offers very tasty coffee. We had a problem with the AC but the staff addressed it quickly and even came back to check if it was working after it was fixed. We really appreciated that.

This is a great boutique hotel. So many creative and artsy touches made it fun to stay there. Super convenient parking and short walk to downtown. Be sure to get the $10 for all you can eat crepe breakfast. Also great coffee, pastries and hard boiled eggs. This place is special.
