"Good"

Refreshing to have a little French style in Coventry. However this hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment lovely friendly staff only let down by the aged condition of the hotel.

"Would not recommend"

No plug sockets in the room, could not charge phone! Heater did not work (stay was in November), could not report as reception closed at 11pm. Mattress thin and uncomfortable, springs sticking out of it. No hot water in the morning.

"Incident packed but all resolved well."

Reception had a security incident and all the fire alarms went off in the rooms. This happened again next morning when they were reset. Important to state that the manager looked favourably at our complaint (I have a nervous issue and it made me jump out of my skin) and made us a reasonable compensatory offer. The hotel is kept very tidy, but the decor is terribly dated, but the room we had, had heating in the bathroom, this is not a travelodge feature. There is also a wired telephone, again Travelodge don't have this. Breakfast facility is good if you want to pay £5.00 each. Wifi worked well. You get what you pay for and this place is one of the cheaper hotels in the Coventry area. Oh, there are metal blinds for the windows .... light pollution doesn't apply here!!!

"old motel sytle!"

More like an 80's usa motel. Mattress end of life, window shutters broken. poor breakfast choice so I used Maccies next door.
