Habitación suite muy cómoda y amplia, decorada con muy buen gusto. Desayunar en la terraza con las vistas al mar es maravilloso. La piscina también es un plus en este alojamiento. La atención del equipo ha sido exquisita. Un lugar para disfrutar de la tranquilidad y desconectar.

Paisagem magnífica, alojamento adorável para quem gosta de estar no meio da natureza, prescindindo da confusão das praias. Todos muito simpáticos, incluindo os ternurentos animais da casa mãe. Adorámos.

L'originalité du logement dans le moulin restauré disposant d'une décoration très soignée; La vue extraordinaire sur l'estuaire du Sado y compris depuis la piscine; La tranquillité; la qualité de l'accueil et des services quasi hôteliers proposés.

Les lieux ,la vue ,la décoration de la suite est chaleureuse et belle( lit confortable et rangement astucieux ) Les pièces étaient fraîches avec ventilateur et possibilité de fermer les fenêtres pour le grand soleil de la journée. Très belle vue , terrasse au calme ,verdure , et vue sur mer Le petit coin cuisine pour préparer des repas d'été simple après le marché de Setubal. Calme et tranquille. On a pu se balader à pied au château et à la plage , avec une bonne condition physique car dénivelé.

Rien , prévoir une voiture pour courses et escapades Permet de visiter la région mais avoir une voiture.est indispensable.

A cozy house in a wonderful location, just a 2-minute walk from the forest – from there, you can hike to the hills or beaches. The territory is beautiful, too. The staff and the owner are super responsive and nice. If you don't have a car, the property is easily reachable via uber or a 15-min walk from the city.

It will get a bit loud in the morning as all the birds wake up, but that is normal in the countryside. Just pack your earplugs!

I had been staying in the heart of other Portuguese cities for my entire stay in the country, so it was nice to find this beautiful villa tucked in the lush landscape of the hills just outside of town. It was close enough to walk to town (downhill) but inexpensive enough to Uber back up whenever I was done for the day. The accomodations were a perfect balance between roomy and cozy: there was a separate living and bedroom, the bedroom had a warm comfortable bed with mattress heater for cozy nights and the living room had a daybed couch for sunny naps and sketching during the day. I loved the local art on the walls and the cork furniture. The kitchen was stocked with coffee on arrival and large enough to self-sustain if cooking at home during the visit. I arrived early on international time and was gratefully allowed an early check-in. Thank you Maria! Maria's team on her property are also so very helpful and enjoyable, Andreia took me around sightseeing during my stay and it was the most memorable day!! The surrounding area was very safe and beautiful, but I appreciated that in the more remote countryside, there was a gate around the property that guests used with a fob for entry and leaving. The views were outstanding, you could see from the room the vast seascape which was just lovely! The property had lemon trees and flowers even in the winter it was quite a lovely garden!

As a warning, there are roosters and dogs on the property. Part of the charm, for sure, but this makes for an abrupt wake-up, as they roam freely. I will end up painting the roosters as a reminder from my trip- and the dog was friendly so this did not impact the enjoyment of my stay.

But basics are missing. Poor heating in cold weather. Heating simply didn’t work in the morning upon waking. It was miserable. They know it is cold outside. No toiletries. Hot water ran out. Coffee maker didn’t work. Sent an unappetizing breakfast in a tray to the room. Left after one night even though had booked 2 nights.
