Ha Mar ao Luar

Very special quiet place located on the mountain with a nice view on the surrounding area. The rooms were nicely equipped and decorated in the local style.

The procedure for ordering our breakfast: we couldn't have it earlier than 9 am. As I received the message about the correct road only on the day of arrival, I hadn't read it (we were already travelling), and first the driving application led us to a very bad road where we really couldn't drive. After calling the hotel we luckily found the right way.

fabulous location - spectacular view. Really unique property, and very quiet and tranquil.

Pool area was amazing with a view to the sea. Location of the hotel was on the side of the hill and views were amazing. Family dog was really lovely and friendly :)

We did not get the room in the windmill( as we hoped while booking), instead it was wooden hut (what we actually booked) and it was not too fancy. We left two nights early due to lack of sleep on our first night - somewhere near by was pile of dogs fighting for something 'til early morning hours (was not the dog living on premises) and it was not possible to have proper night sleep. There was no AC or anything else to turn the "white noise" up, hence the issue with barking.

It felt like home. Lose of privacy and just am amazing view! The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. Will definitely recommend and return!

I love animals, and the two dogs on the property were so gorgeous, but it is noisy with neighbouring dogs being set off barking all the time. There’s a donkey next door that’s insanely loud and added to that there’s kids that drive up and down the streets outside playing heavy drum and base until 5am throughout the whole night. There’s also tons and tons of flys and mosquitoes and the beach is a good 15-29 min walk along main streets. None of this is the fault of where we stayed but did make sleeping hard and the rural aspect a bit annoying.

Magical place, great to rest. Very private, in the middle of the nature, but 5 min away from the city centre of Setúbal. the view is amazing to the sea, and great pool.

The property has various bedroom suites. We stayed in two during our extended stay. The accommodation has an aged chic. Its has a subtle style with art, decorations, the best bed linen and bedding and a feel that only someone of exquisite taste could create. Stylish but not flashy. Slightly aged, perhaps shabby chic. We loved it! Stunning views to sea, sunrise across the ocean, fresh air, national park surrounds. Added to that, lovely staff on site always willing to help and assist. We love this place and will be back and back again.
