Hôtel Kyriad Caen Sud - Ifs

Cok vasat bir konaklama mekanı. Resepsiyon 23.00 saatine kadar acık yazılmasına ragmen 22.00 da otele vardıgımda resepsiyon malesef kapalıydı. Daha once konakladıgım Kyriad oteller içinde en vasatı.

Bon séjour. Mais la salle de bain demande sûrement de gros travaux. Matériel qui commence à devenir vétuste. Des odeurs nauséabondes sont remonter du lavabo de la chambre de mes enfants…

Poor communication, not that clean and no restaurant at all at weekends! Was told there was a McDonalds and a Chinese restaurant opposite but found Chinese was shut for a month! No housekeeping over weekend either. Food was less than average although staff in restaurant were pleasant. A basic hotel. Won’t be staying here again.

On arrival I was not told that there was not restaurant throughout the whole of the weekend. I had no car, and it is miles from Caen. I was told there is a McDonald and a Chinese restaurant over the road - it turned out that the Chinese restaurant was closed until 7 Aug (over a month after I had left!). If I had known that the restaurant was shut I would not have booked - I do not use UberEats (the answer I was told when I complained on leaving!) and my French is not good enough to book a taxi and try what I could find in Caen. On Monday I wanted a beer at 6pm and was told that the bar did not belong to the hotel so they could not sell me one until it opened at 7pm! Overall - the hotel was clean but not great - little / no availability of disinfectant cleaner for hands etc. Nothing at all in the room in terms of disinfectant. There was a kettle in the room - that did not fit in the sink so water spilled out when trying to fill it. There were no cups or coffee / tea - this was only available from the reception area - which I had to find for myself. When my colleague arrived late on Sunday he had to log himself in via key pad but had no access to the coffee / cups until the next morning! Why not leave a set in the room! The food in the restaurant was not good - over seasoned, poor quality, not hot and not clean crockery e.g. most breakfast cutlery was not clean from dishwasher or glasses. Overall very poor and we will not book here again.

La chambre est propre. J'ai apprécié la presence d'un restaurant dans l'hôtel. En ce qui concerne les services, ils ne sont pas à la hauteur de la reservation : la bouilloire est absente et c'est un peu facile de le justifier par la covid19. D'autant plus que le coût du petit dejeuner 10 € est exorbitant lorsqu'on ne prend qu' un café et un morceau de pain le matin.

Hôtel vieillissant et un peu proche d’une voie d’accès au périphérique de Caen

séjour d'une nuit, de passage. Ok dans ce cadre. bien isolé du bruit extérieur avec proximité axes de circulation. Literie confortable.

Bonne halte prix très correct
