Pinckeyville Inn and Suites

This place was terrible in all ways possible. There were people drinking out in front of the hotel like the slums. This place was not a very good place to sleep for a night. Will definitely never go back.

Terrible booking issue! Hotel was overbooked and we didn’t know until we got there to check in. Front desk was rude and “not their problem” 2 hrs later on a call with hotels.com we were rebooked at a different hotel. Very stressful situation!

pictures online are deceiving, room was nothing like it was described. We arrived at 5:15 and the room still wasn't ready due to the lady living in it for 5 years as she stated, moving out,bathroom light was painted black, a knotted baggie was found on the bathroom floor, no lightbulbs in the lamps, mirror was poorly secured and fell off of the wall while we were gone and shattered all over the floor and on luggage, minimal service at the desk, partying outside of our window in the parking lot all night long, yelling in the hallways from people who apparently live there, and doors slamming all night. Very unsettling atmosphere all together! Hotel was unable to provide adequate pillows and linen, front desk employee was unprofessional in manner and attire,walking around in bare feet and clothes that didn't leave much to the imagination. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Stay was ok. It was close to where I need to go and had a pool. They had the windows open in the pool area and bugs and wasp was flying in but other then that the pool area was nice. The breakfast was the only bad thing about the stay. Stale cereal, bread was moldy, no fruit or yogurts so only thing we had was waffle. It was quite by my room but at the other end of the hall near my mom she said their was some drinks out half the night being loud in the hallway. But the hotel served the main purpose of what I needed it for.

Everything was neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Had the pool all to myself and it’s open til midnight. Lovely stay overall,

The box spring on the bed was broken and had fallen through the frame so was half on the floor, the carpeting was sticky. The shower in my father's room did not work. The outside door locks were not engaged, even at midnight. The NON smoking room we booked smelled like an ashtray. The stairs had holes in the metal. There were NO TOP SHEETS only a fitted sheet and a very light small comforter.

Room floor is dirty!!! Hair left on the sink counter, shower looking dirty also.

It's clear to me the staff is trying to improve this place. I appreciated the hospitality - especially in the attached bar which is a nice bonus to the property. Given that and a fair price I can ignore some of the areas that still need a little work, such as unsightly debris piles. The little bird in the welcome area brightened my morning, too.

Our room did not have a coffeemaker, I like coffee 1st thing after waking up. The shower/tub combo: shower worked when I wanted to take a relaxing bath, but then in the morning couldn't get it back to shower! The breakfast area was slim ( it had the basics) but ran out of coffee cups and no one around to restock. No one at front desk to ask. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during check in though.
