Pinckeyville Inn and Suites

They said there would be breakfast. But nothing was out for the 2 days i was there. The hotel hallways and common areas were so excruciatingly hot. I had to leave earlier than expected and requested a call from the manager because they were not available at the time I tried to check out and I never received a call. I called several times and was told they were still unavailable and then the final time they rejected my call. The lady working the counter named Kimmy was very nice but looked very rough hygenically speaking. Carpets are outdated in the room with 1970s green. And there's a lot of stains and holes in the walls. The white linen and towels had a lot of stains on them and made me question they're cleanliness.

We were staying at a 4-star hotel in TN, not only was it expensive, the cleaning crews told us they were too tired to clean all of the hotel daily as they were supposed to, so our room never got serviced until we called, and the staff were distant and not readily accessible nor friendly. Traveling home, we stayed at America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Pinckneyville, IL. Completely different experience. Staff were accessible, from Kimmy to Mit. The hotel was safe, the pool was heated, there were pool toys provided, a game room, breakfast, and best of all clean. well worth the extra miles off the main road. highly recommend this hotel.

Rear entrance was unlocked entire stay day and night.

The lady running this hotel was awesome. Everything was 5 stars.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was long hair on the drain and on the shower walls, cigarette burn on the couch, dust in the corners and dust covered scrunchie on the floor behind the nightstand. There was a single outlet (not a double outlet) reachable from the beds. The sheets were thin and the towels were tiny. The bath towels were a few inches bigger than hand towels. The employee working was doing her absolute best and was incredibly polite—she was staffing the front desk and cleaning rooms.

It was an interesting place to stay. It did it's job but only just.

Entry door were unable to lock. No security from non guests

Price was nice. Staff was helpful

We made our reservation on September 27, 2023, for the Great American Eclipse. When we arrived at 7:30 PM on April 7, we were told that they couldn’t find our reservation. I feel like they either sold our room to someone who was willing to pay more or they were waiting for some desperate person to arrive who would pay $600.

Staying in town for the eclipse with a friend. The hotel met our needs. It definitely needs a face-lift but the staff were very attentive and cared about our stay. The bar area was nice. They had food and a great selection of drinks. This hotel has a lot of potential and I hope they meet it. Thanks.
