The proximity to the beach , parking and the multiple elevator access to the room.

This hotel is obviously in a great location, right on the boardwalk. Plenty of free parking, and a good Tiki Bar & restaurant on the boardwalk level. It's two buildings spliced together so lots of hallways. There's also a small pool and limited pool deck that gets VERY crowded! We spent our first night in a nice room on the second floor; no problem. Next two nights were in Room 117 and it was NOT nice. The air conditioner made a high-pitched whine or hum whenever the compressor kicked on (which was often because it was very hot while we were there). Also, the knob to control the shower water temperature did not work correctly: Most single-knob shower controls only turn one way and when you turn it on, you get hot (or cold) water, but continuing to turn the knob, you can then mix/regulate the temperature. This one turned to the left and you got cold water; turning it to the right only got hot water (if you went all the way to the right it got a little less hot but still very hot). The internal valve has obviously been installed wrong or the wrong one used. I reported all this to the front desk and they said "no one has ever complained about these things before," as if I was being too picky. Well, maybe THAT'S why they're still a problem. The desk clerk sent two maintenance guys to look at the air conditioner; they said, "Yep! There's a noise," and did nothing to fix it. When they checked out the too-hot water in the shower, they said, "It's working the way it's supposed to." Useless maintenance people! I guess the shower will remain that way until someone scalds themselves and sues the hotel.

Great location and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel is so conveniently located. Loved the two restaurants. Had a great mini vacation!

The room has a leak from the mini fridge causing mold

We come every year and it’s always great. We love the pool on the boardwalk and that they serve food and drinks there. The kids love it too

I previously stayed at this hotel so I booked again for the last week before back to school. I booked two rooms for my large family. I checked in and received the room keys. As soon as we walked in the first room, we immediately knew something was off. The room smelled horribly and when we looked around we saw mold all over the walls and ceiling. It was a lot and very noticeable. Not sure how the property could have let the room get booked. This level of mold is from constant neglect. I was supposed to be in this room with my two babies. I went to the front desk to show them pictures of all the mold. There were no rooms available. I requested a refund of the room. My family then had to share the remaining room. We were crowded but what could we do. One of the bed options was a sofa bed. We pulled it out and the mattress also had mold. At this point, this is just getting absurd. The mattress and the frame was covered in mold. We requested a new mattress and luckily we got one but it still felt ick to be in that room. Expedia has been amazing throughout but I can’t see myself going to this hotel again.

Location was great! Food at the restaurant was good. The bed was not super comfy. T.V. in one room was not connected. Found hair in the tub and I had some kind of allergic reaction when in the room. Not sure what was in there

I asked for room 419 before my arrival by phone and message. I was given 218 , was told that I made my reservation with Expedia !
