Location was great, great beach views and walkable to pretty much everything. Guest rooms could use some attention. Peeling wallpaper, worn carpets, etc. Pool and deck area needed attention. Overall, the staff was friendly, particularly the housekeeping staff.

Property was clean but a bit tired. A few updates would make this outstanding. Location to beach and boardwalk was excellent.

The stay was amazing! We loved it! We will def chose this hotel again. I just wish that the room was cleaner. But overall, the stay was great!

This was the second year that we have stayed at this property with a family of three. The sands is the perfect location with great access to the boardwalk multiple restaurants as well as off boardwalk restaurants. The property is being renovated in our room was one of the renovated rooms which they have invested heavily in updating the current standards. The room we were able to get had a side balcony, which is much larger than an oceanfront balcony, which surprised us. The only concern I had was the side balconies ease of access to other rooms by simply hopping over the walls. If you’re looking for a clean comfortable room for value for a week or a weekend, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for vacationing dad‘s looking for the best bang for their buck knowing that their kids won’t complain and especially their wives won’t either

The property was clean but dated. Rooms close and walls thin. Location right on the boardwalk and steps to the ocean. Pool extremely small and limited seating.

At time of checkin give the pool wrist bands. I was spotted and my room key wasn't enough. I had to stop and go get one. Just hand them out, they are free. If staying multiple nights, give 2 sets of towels.

Great location across from beach and short walk on the boardwalk to Main Street shopping and restaurants.
