Express Inn & Suites

Hotel is nothing special...ok place stay if nothing else is available. Basic accommodations with nothing notable.

The family operating this small business were very nice, friendly and wanted to be sure we had what we needed. We had a good nights sleep, felt 110% safe, and would stay again when in the area. Smaller breakfast as OK with us. Thanks

No frills. Cheap, but clean room. Could use a little bit better organization. Decent room for the price.

After we checked in at Express Inn we asked where the pool was so we could get a quick swim after traveling. The man at the desk said there was no pool but the website said there was an outdoor pool. It was very hot in Alabama so there would be no reason not to have a pool now. We were very disappointed! The air conditioning unit in the room we had was very loud and the grounds did not look that clean. My sister and I were very disappointed with Hotels.com. I have used you in the past many times but this time it was not good. Also we did not see any breakfast in the lobby area. I am embarrassed since I told my family members traveling there to use the hotel I had reserved. We will never stay there again.

We were down for Rock the South, any and every hotel manager knows you dont check in until super late. This hotel gave away our reservation due to us not checking in before 6pm. We never had this problem at other hotels previous years.

No cokes or diet cokes in the machine. We paid for and requested a king suite and got a double queen when we booked the room.

The location was perfect for visiting family about a mile away. The motel is older but the room was clean and had a nice long bathroom counter, plenty of hot water, microwave & refrigerator, nice tv reception. One bed was softer than the other but both were good. There was a breakfast that included fresh fruit but I did not see any juice. I feel sorry for motel owners since they can not get ratings for guests and obviously one of their guests was not very nice as there were two burn holes in one of the bedspreads.It was nice to have the rooms on one level and be able to park right outside our door.

It was a good price and very close to where I was going, but the beds were a little hard. Other than that it was decent.

This stay was HORRIBLE! The lights did not work properly. One lamp did not even have light bulbs. We reserved a King sized bed, but at check in were told no kings available. There were holes in the walls, ancient appliances, NO pool (as listed), no coffee makers, and cockroaches!

I've stayed here a handful of times and it has always been clean, but needs updating. There are also residents that live at this motel and from past experiences this is not always a good thing. We have only had one time that someone knocked on our door looking for a resident.
