The location is amazing

Horrible food The rooms aren’t clean even after house keeping is gone The gym is unbelievably dirty

Absolutely fabulous location and views from the room down the Nile were amazing. Staff in the hotel were all excellent. The breakfasts and food in the restaurants were first class, pool area and life guard and bar staff brilliant and very attentive and super friendly. Really recommend for families and couples or solo travellers who want to see Egypt history and new Egypt and all it has to offer! Great vibe and such fun going over to the hotel by boat running every 5 minutes … perfect.

The Movenpick is located on an island with fantastic views of the West Bank of the Nile. You get to the hotel with a free water taxi. We stayed in the new wing which was very pleasant. We didn't visit the old part of the hotel. The Egyptian restaurant was excellent and had very friendly staff. The rooms are good with a spacious shower and balcony.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal et les infrastructures sont vraiment remarquables. Le personnel est aux petits soins et se montre toujours attentionné, et le ménage est effectué avec soin et rigueur. En revanche, le restaurant était décevant lors de notre visite : la qualité n'était malheureusement pas au rendez-vous, sans pour autant remettre en cause l'ensemble de l'expérience.

Great location

Birds at breakfast area very unhealthy and extremely annoying. Chairs and surroundings spattered with droppings. Birds also getting into the food counters. Hotel has made no effort to stop birds. Did not like some of the staff trying to get tips by being over-familiar Pillows are way too thick and no thinner options. Bad nights sleep! W had to use rolled up towel as pillow. So for over 300USD per night this is pretty poor and disappointing

Excellent location if you want a luxurious stay at a family friendly resort, the staff could not do more for us, the ambience was excellent and the food superb. We thoroughly recommend coming to Aswan and staying here
