Hotel Mainake

Had a room booked for a weekend in July which was very well priced and non-refundable. However, had to cancel due to C19. Carla was extremely helpful with fast response to my e-mails and arranged to re-book for another date.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, perfect location and extremely clean!

Our second time here and a great stay. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.😊 We are also pleased to report that our laptop was found in our room the last time we stayed and returned to us. Glad to see the hairdyers are working (I did bring one). Location is excellent. Parking was found on the street but the parking garage is always a plus. We brought friends who have accessible needs and their room was perfect. Shower only made it accessible with ease. Our room has a tub/shower combo that they could not have used. The lobby had a place to store the scooter and charge it. The only note on condition is some wear and tear: in the bathroom-water damaged door cracked bidet, in the bedroom-scuffed, dirty walls,crack by AC. Also, real hangers would be better always; on this trip, my hand is bandaged from surgery and these are almost impossible to use with one hand. One other suggestion it would be nice to know you need to bring pool towels in advance as when traveling some people may not have packed them. (I don't buy and use towels without washing them first, so not an option). Our friends also enjoyed and will return when back in Torre del Mar. We all live in Spain so enjoy time here when we need a beach trip.

Sadly, the trip was great until I forgot my laptop on top of the black safe in a black bag in the dark closet. Called back to say we'd left it there at about 19:30 and were told to call back the next morning as housekeeping had gone home. Called back in the morning and were advised the room was disinfected and new guests were in the room so could not look, but assured the housekeeping had not found it the day before. Seriously, the room they said checked in VERY late after my call? Why then, did they not go and look? Granted, my fault for missing it but really not to go look. It was very easy to miss. Which is how I did. Sad there is no honesty. I even left a tip for the housekeeper. Also, they disabled the hairdryer for the COVID? This should be on the website in advance. Stayed in Seville last week and the hotel had hairdryer. Stayed in Antiquera and they had hairdryer??? Otherwise, the hotel was great; nice check-in, clean room, good size, comfortable. Great location.

Although late in posting this I am hoping that all are ok who work at this hotel. We were staying here just before the lockdown in Spain. The hotel is one of our favourites and we were due to return in June. But due to COVID19 we have cancelled. We can recommend this hotel if you want a good clean spacious room and helpful staff. We have stayed here many times and have no reason to complain. We hope that we will return when life is back to normal. Stay safe everyone.

Holiday was cut short due to lock down although disruptive I am so glad we stayed at this hotel. The staff are nothing short of brilliant, they really couldn’t do enough for us, they kept us informed and, just so happy to help. We have moved our second week so we can go back when things improve to everyone at the hotel especially both our ladies on reception, Susie in the restaurant and our room cleaner. Thankyou all you are amazing

Not my first visit and hotel is clean, tidy, staff very friendly, great location, spent some time on the roof, getting some sun very nice and quiet, pool OK. a few minutes to the beach, plenty of eating places nearby, coffee shop/bar attached to hotel is good and nice coffee

Hi, we have stayed in this hotel on a couple of occasions for a couple of nights. The hotel is very clean, staff friendly, and rooms larger than you would expect. We stay in a room on 3rd floor with a balcony I know it is second line to the beach and the views from some rooms are blocked by buildings but as we were out most of the day and only using it for a small amount of time it was not a problem for us. The roof top pool is not huge but its a good place to escape to for an early evening cool down after a hot day at the beach. As I said we have only stayed for a maximum of 3 nights when we go to the coast from our village Canillas de Aceituno and I think for the price of this hotel near the beach it is excellent value for money. We are looking forward to our next stay in June.
