Hotel Mainake

During my current trip to Spain I visited a friend in Torre Del Mar, and he recommended the Mainake Hotel since it is under a new management. The only and last available room that day was a standard room. I was afraid that it would be small, but on the contrary it was specious, clean, and with a nice touch of towel artistry on the bed. The hotel could be considered on the second line from the beach, with a maximum 2 minute walking distant from the Paseo Maritimo (the street on the beach). The hotel is clean, cosy, and well heated (all over) especially with the cold weather now. The breakfast is what you expect in a 4 star hotel, nice variety, and what I like the most is the selection of beverages (coffee, cappuccino, expresso, tea, ....). Some of the facilities available in the hotel are: Rooftop swimming pool, conference halls, a nice outdoor cafeteria/bar/restaurant, and paid parking spaces (underground across the street). The staff were friendly and helpful especially the housekeeping.

easy checkin at 1 a.m. street parking very nearby, hotel is on a wide road but reached through narrow streets. very good room. very good value. large balcony (this room was at end of row). located a few blocks from beachfront (but within built-up residential and hotel district), a few blocks from (one end of) town centre.

Super location , 5 minutes to beach or centre of town . Friendly , very helpful staff . Problem dealt with in under 5 minutes . Cannot fault them . Would not hesitate to stay agin

Loved our second stay on 3rd floor. Pool quiet and we even had a sea view from room 303.

Good location but one or two small niggles about the room. Only one extra pillow in a double room, shower needs a new wall bracket as rhe one in the bathroom was too loose and when the hand set was in it turning the shower was turned on it was throw backwards and soaked the towels on the rack at the bottom of the bath

Stayed here as we were going to a show close by. For the price(much cheaper than the taxi fare home) hotel was fantastic. Will definitely stay again for a longer break. Sun terrace and pool on the roof an added bonus.

Reception excellent. Location excellent for us. Wifi in room not good. Thought we could smell cigarette smoke on bedding. Other than that we've stayed before and am sure we'll stay again.

Average hotel. Nothing close to four star. Breakfast without any quality food and crazy price for this time of the year.

Four star hotel but in my opinion it should be 3 star. They do not have bellboy to assist with the luggage. It was a struggle. The bathroom toiletries are mediocre, cheap towels, glad I had my own. Mattress uncomfortable. Bathroom is a safety hazard. Nearly slipped in the tub. Bumped my head into the towel shelf, it’s hanging way too low. The cleaner did not clean thoroughly. She left stains behind. The TV is basic, basic stations. Basic cheap and mediocre hangers. Hotel is located opposite a top notch charcuterie Ricon Iberica. It was a pleasure to go and eat and drink there. I would not go back to this hotel. We were there to celebrate a good friend’s birthday, so it’s a one off

great hotel, nice staff, my spanish is poor but had no problems, coffee bar is nice. pricing fair. even for me the beach is only 2 minutes away, if you get the chance visit the market on a thursday only 2 minutes away
