Candace was great at the front desk!! Very accommodating!

This place is a dump. Our room was 80 degrees..they tried to fix it twice..didn't work. Elevators are a complete nightmare!! Pool is dirty.the glass from the pool looking at the beach is filthy. Rooms are clean..paint is chipped on doors in bathroom. Save your money!! 4 star rating is misleading..3 star max..front desk is super rude. Asked where the bathrooms were and was asked for room reservation before she would point us to the very public bathroom..dont stay in an oceanfront floor 5 your room will be infested with flies. There's even a warning on your patio door. Bottom line this place blows

All was well until the next morning. It was like yhe twilight zone! Woke up to a bit of noise outside of the room (approx 0830). Ordered room service. The representative said, “I don’t know why they started this early”. Didn’t what she meant until we left the room. Renovation started on our floor. Plastic covered the carpet. All wall paper removed which uncovered mold, etc. Extremely poor experience. Concerns with health and safety. Just think about hotel renovation and what that would look like. We have been to this hotel at least a dozen times, was always a great experience. This was very disappointing.

The hotel manager (Shanna?) said tho have booking.com send refund nd request (not the correct term) and they would refund the cost of out stay. In the end, that dis NOT happen. I feel taken advantage of. This was a very bad experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel—it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, right by the ocean, and the staff are incredibly friendly—this was so important to me. I stayed in an oceanfront room, which was just stunning. I especially want to thank Cherry, the receptionist manager, who went above and beyond. I made a mistake in booking a single bed, as my son was visiting, and I needed two separate beds. Despite the hotel being fully booked for the weekend, Cherry carefully arranged a solution, ensuring we stayed on the higher floor with a beautiful view and the beds we needed. Truly a five-star experience—I can’t recommend this place enough!

The stay was amazing but even more on point was the customer service! Imagine you are in charge of booking the night for your wife of 20 years BUT you booked the wrong date! You show up to check in and they infirm you if the mistake…(yikes)! THEN Candace and Kymia move at the speed of sound to help you save face, get a room booked, and save the date night!!! Amazing service and stay!!!!

Great stay at the Hilton Oceanfront Virginia Beach! There was an issue with my original room, but Candace provided outstanding customer service and quickly upgraded me. She was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience
