Sehr schöne Anlage. Affen vom Pool aus beobachten. Frühstück top. Vulkanische Aktivitäten direkt vor der Nase.

Beim Abendessen war der Fisch zu sehr durchgegart, das Gemüse und Püree dafür leider kalt. Personal ist zwar sehr freundlich und bemüht aber es dauert alles ewig. Die Kinder wurden dann schon mal ungeduldig.

It’s a bit far off from everything. So you definitely need a car

Let me start by saying this: if you are the kind of person who needs nightlife, loud music, or who likes to complain while surrounded by rainforest… do not go here. Seriously. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us. Now, for those who do go The Borinquen Thermal Resort quietly nails all the things most reviews somehow forget to mention. First, the beds. Shockingly comfortable. The pillows? Also, legit. The towels both bathroom and pool are big, fluffy, and soft. The staff? Flat-out amazing. Everyone is kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Armando, Diego, and Pam deserve medals and yes, the resort is hilly it’s nature, not a strip mall in New Jersey but there’s always a shuttle. Emanuel usually shows up like a rainforest Uber driver, effortlessly cool, and takes you wherever you need to go. The spa is excellent and absolutely worth it. Do yourself a favor and book it. Your future self will thank you. The tours on the property were all great, and we also did two horseback tours with Freddy and Oscar, who were fantastic guides. Special shout-out to Flor de Caña and Lorenzo the horses who were calm, gentle, and clearly more responsible than most people I know. Bottom line: if you love nature, quiet, relaxation, and being surrounded by something genuinely beautiful, this place is special. If you don’t… again… DO NOT GO. Stay home. Book a loud resort. Let Borinquen remain the peaceful gem it is.

The grounds, wildlife and mud bath!

The food, particularly breakfast, was terrible. There aren’t enough staff to cover busy times.
