I was concerned because I tried to call before going, to schedule a shuttle to pick me up from the airport and to see if i would be able to check in early. I never got through because the number was disconnected. When I arrived I had to get my own taxi and luckily they did allow me to check in. The hotel was very empty I think there was 1 other family. The service at the restaurant was slow but really good. I was also able to leave my luggage in storage since I had an excursion until after my check out... all in all it was good.. oh yeah and the elevator doesn’t work. Reading the other reviews looks like it hasn’t worked for a while . Didn’t bug me at all though went up way more stairs in Tikal and Yaxha

"Good location"

While this hotel is a little dated our room had a great view of the lake & it was easily walkable to all the restaurants on the Isle de Flores. There is a shopping center across the road that has a large grocery store & a bakery. I tried to call the hotel in advance to get transportation from the airport but was unable to reach them. The elevator was out of order during our stay. I do wonder if it ever works.

"Such a bad experience"

Do not stay in this hotel. If the room (beds) are quite well maintain, other things are not at all at the level of our expectation : staff or very friendly, lift out of order (for how many time ?), pool very dirty, cleanliness of common area and also toilets door really poor. I would not stayed in this hotel if I did not book it in advance.

"nice for an overnight stay"

a good place to stay if you're needing a place before going to tikal. the refrigerator was convenient but never could find the microwave hotels.com said they had. if you're coming from the usa don't expect a marriott facility.

The view was fantastic! The airport shuttle was super handy. Although, arranging it with "Google Translate" was not ideal. Great location, easy to walk to everything.
