Homewood Suites by Hilton College Station

Hotel is extremely dated and over priced.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The staff took care of a couple of small problems and made us feel more than welcome. The highlight was the breakfast. The person putting the breakfast together really cared and went above and beyond Brand standards the picadillo breakfast tacos were awesome on Saturday and the Sunday breakfast was equally as good.

They had no extra pillows, the alarms from the room across the hall kept going off all night, the people above us, woke us up at 1:30 am and they sounded like they were stomping until around 1:45, and the hair dryer didn’t work and the front office didn’t have a key to maintenance to get a new one, so I had to towel dry my hair and was late for my next event.

We enjoyed the spacious suite for our family of 6 people. The staff was very nice, and the free breakfast was great. Our only complaint was that the carpets and bathroom needed to be cleaned a little better, and possibly some items need to be replaced and kept up better. Overall not too bad though and would stay there again.

Everything was great except the room keys. Keys kept failing and had to return to the front desk 5 times to remedy. In spite of the tech issues, everything else was great.

Location and cleanliness

What I didn’t like was NO BREAKFAST WAS EXTENDED TO THE GUEST BECAUSE SOMEONE DIDNT SHOW UP FOR WORK! You should always have a backup plan. Never advertise that guest have a complimentary breakfast but then stiff the hotel guest!!! We won’t return again. For $190.00 we did not get what we were entitled to. Unfortunate.

No breakfast on Sunday. Woman at front desk was on her personal cell phone the whole time I was drinking my coffee in the dining room. Coffee was terrible, but it was the only thing that was available. At check out, front desk seemed irritated that I complained about the breakfast and wouldn’t give me a printed receipt for my stay. Won’t stay here again

Showed up expecting a room. No room, answer was a glitch in the system. Looked the day after hotel was showing availability so i call and no rooms...

Property is very dated. The ac system is very loud. Once it came on you can’t hear the tv. Woke me up during the night. Very noisy neighbors. Sounds of arguing and fighting

So big and comfy! The room was cool and had everything we needed period mattress was a little old but still comfortable. Only reason I ranked lower on cleanliness was that the floors were sticky. Also wished they had given us more than 2 wash rags.
