Metropark Hotel Shenzhen

being charge for the deposit. room charge collected by expedia and being told that hotel need to place deposit of RMB500 during my stay and redunded when check out. but hotel still charge my credit card upon check out without notify me. i realise when i am on the way to next city Guangzhou by receiving message from card company. this is insane

Clean & big room, with very convenient location as well as good transport link, Cannot ask for more especially if you are a business or working traveller. Worth the stay.

The only let down is the reception do not speak good enough English,Also i had the breakfast four times when i needed to get up early wish i had not bothered it got worse with the cooked food.This went from lukewarm to cold dishes when its supposed to be cold.I even tried to put the food i had in a microwave to warm up but it was not working or pluggeed in.Maybe i should have complained which i should have done the first day it was like this or the second time.For 66 RMB was not worth it. disappointed.

Excellent location. Big room with separate living area. walking distance to famous shopping walking mall, big shopping area and lots of shops and food. Hotel a bit old now but is clean and comfortable.

Easy excess to subway train, eating places and shopping. Males counter staffs friendly( maybe I can speak a little mandarin). Hotel is old but clean. Sure to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

This is my 3rd time staying in this hotel. It was very good the past 2 times, that's why I choose the same hotel this time... but I'm not very happy this time. The reason is actually those people who staying in the hotel! Let's talk about the good stuff of this hotel first. 1) good location. you can take the subway (Saibu station) and there's an elevator where you can just enter from the exit (A) inside a mall with some food shops around. 2) good size room. This time, we had a 2 twin beds and a small family room. If you have party of 3, actually, it's not bad to sleep at the sofa. 3) it's quite clean, quiet and comfortable why I say a "no" this time: we were living at 8th floor and it's suppose to be a non-smoking hotel, but there are few groups of Chinese people open their room door and smoking inside and at the public area, which make the whole entire floor very smoky! We called the lobby couple times, but no one had send up and just tell them to stop smoking... that really make me not happy. I'm a woman with 2 old seniors and they are a group of men... I don't want to get intimidate... and we just let it slip... sigh~ They also stop providing coffee/tea/sugar those kind of stuff anymore... It's not important but it will be nice if they still have. but that's really nothing compare to the smoke... So, if u don't mind smoking smell all around the whole level... it's not a bad hotel to stay at...

Very conveniently located as just above the MTR station..room was spacious with a separate living room where extra bed can then be placed..the kitchen is good addition for those travelling with family..reasonably priced too

The stay was amazing. My Family has a wonderful time.

Good location, near subway station. Staff is a friendly but bad English. Use google translate to communicate. (via VPN only). Very old binding, carpets are dirty and smell. Use slippers in the room, very dirty carpet. If you are 0 tolerant for cigarettes - stay away from this place. Cigarette smell everywhere all and around the hotel on the floor, in the room. Even asking for not smoking room, smoke came from neighbors. Very hard beds. Lots of black and green molds in bathrooms. The AC very poor, can't even feel if it is working.
