Metropark Hotel Shenzhen

Very spacious room. Nice ventilation and on top of metro/mrt. Direct lift from mrt level in shopping mall to my room. Just surround by easy food access. Real easy to pack after a day of tired running around. 1 station away from Lao Jie pedestrian street shopping. Can actually walk there in less than 10min.

Very nice hotel very convenient and nice place to shop. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Next time when I return I will go back to this hotel.

The hotel staff handling check-in cannot recognize the booking details through Expedia. Rather she was able to acknowledge my another booking through Agoda immediately. It was embarrassing as she thought we wanted to squeeze 9pax in that one room which was booked through Agoda instead of recognizing the other 4 rooms booking through Expedia. Would strongly suggest Expedia give them a sample of the bookings for their reference. It took her a while to believe my bookings through Expedia is genuine. The room is spacious though old. Very value for money, considering the location and big room.

Huge room but dated ,location good . Staff was friendly

This is probably a very high end hotel 30yrs ago, the foundation is nice but has seen better days. Crt tv in the room, toilet seat was 1/3 melted, furniture are dated. Service is really bad, front desk is very impolite and unorganized. Took my passport out of sight for over 10min and when I asked why is this taking so long, man just says they are checking and turn around before conversation finishes. Got treated like a second class citizen

Big hotel with central location. The staff was nice and because the room smelled cigarette smoke, they brought an air purifier to the room.

Metropark hotel is still my best choice when I arrived in Shenzhen on business trip. Transportation to around the business district is convenience with Metro Train and Taxi nearby. Shopping and meals is easily found around the neighborhood.

This is my second stay in this hotel within two weeks. The location is good. Everything is average but rooms are spacious. However, all counter stsff should be able to communicate with Cantnese and English not only one or two.

Like what others reviewed: old & smoky hotel. Whole place smelling like smoking place. Consider quite a big room with small kitchen area, big living section & beds area. Located above Mtr (with direct lift up to hotel rooms) convenient location is the only pro. Need to change train at laojie from luohu station, it is a diff line= Saibu Station.
