The reception staff could be more proactive about offering to arrange help for you to get bags to and from the gondola. It was not til we asked what help was available that they advised there is a sled that staff can use to bring the bags to the gondola

Amazing location in sunshine village.

Access to food was difficult after hours. There is no general store, or cafe open after 4pm, plus the vending machines were out of order. So essentially you could only eat at the restaurant, adding significant cost to the stay. And if you were hungry after dinner there is no access to food.

We have stayed at Sunshine Mountain Lodge many times and always find the staff excellent, the facility clean, the atmosphere fun and friendly and the ski school outstanding. It looks like it’s going to be a great ski season based on the snow so far and you can’t beat ski in ski out in Banff.

The place is beautiful, although difficult to reach. You have to pay for the gondola in the winter time. One of the gondolas at the top of the mountain didn't work.

I left a piece of clothing in the room, and realized the same day of the check out. I reached the hotel right away, and didn't receive an answer for a month, until I wrote again. Their answer: nothing was found and we donate everything after 30 days, even tho I'm pretty sure they never looked for it. Their customer service is not good at all. I don't think I will come back. They also never told me that they were going to close the hotel for renovations that same day.
